Nice day trip to see something different off the beaten track - We went on this day tour from Malcesine we were picked up on time by the coach driver Luca and the tour guide Alex (Alessandro) we had been on a tour to Verona 2 days previously with the same driver and tour guide. The tour guide Alex is extremely nice and hospitable and genuinely cares about giving the customers a nice time, he is very knowledgeable and gives out loads of interesting information ( Don’t know how he remembers it all ) he is multi lingual and caters for both the British and German speaking passengers equally well. The tour firstly visits a family run vineyards high up in the mountains, you get a tour of the winery and a taste of 3 of their wines and an option to purchase if you want, there is no pressure to buy any at all. You then visit a local farm/restaurant and have a 2 course lunch and more wine, coffee water etc. We enjoyed the meal as did others on the tour. Finally you get to visit a very old church building in a quaint hilltop village. We thought the tour was very good value for money, But what makes the tour so good is the guide Alex.

Good wines, good sights, good company - Trip was great! Alessandro is very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and always open to answer your questions. You get lots of bits of knowledge about Italy and the area in general. You don't see the time pass by!

Wine and Dine - Alessandro was wonderful. The wine was amazing as was the food! Would definitely recommend. Some of the trip was uphill so just keep it in mind if you struggle to walk.

A wonderful trip starting with some... -
A wonderful trip starting with some history and wine tasting in a tiny beautiful town with stunning views of Lake Garda and the valley. We drove off in our car around the area and came to the small vineyard where we learned about wine growing and did more tasting. That was an incredible time with Marco, our host at the winery. We finished up with an amazing dinner in a nearby little time. If you don't feel the need for a tour guide to accompany and like the self-guided tour, this is a wonderful afternoon.
