What You Learn
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development (online or in a classroom ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!
The Fun Part
The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five confined water dives and four dives at local dive sites under the supervision of your SSI/PADI Instructor.

First time divers - Dive Gurus provided me with the lessons and training I needed for an Open water SSI diving certification. Ive always wanted to learn scuba and was recommended this spot to learn. Brian was a great instructor and was very knowledgeable at this craft. Got my first few dives under my belt and i'm looking forward to doing more and returning for an advanced cert! Thank you Dive Gurus!

Would Definitely Recommend this Dive Shop - Before I was not interested in scuba at all because I disliked snorkeling and was scared to being underwater for too long. However our instructor, Brian, did a great job teaching us and adjusting the course to slowly make us more comfortable underwater. The taught us the required skills and patiently monitored us as we drilled them. After this course I very much enjoy scuba diving and it has made me a lot more confident being in and under water.
Also everyone at the dive shop is very friendly. It's a great place to just hang out between or after dives

Amazing diving experience - Our diving instructor, Andrew Gritzka was amazing. He was very informative, patient, helpful and easy to understand. He made us feel comfortable and safe in a new environment which is diving. Took us on great dives with great photos for memories. We successfully passed our open water certification with his excellent service. Highly recommended!

BORACAY SCUBA DIVING 2024 - Scuba Diving was an unexpected experience for us in BORACAY . Brian our diver instructor in DiveGurus guided us all the way till we end the course, answered all our questions and he was so patient. Got our certificates 👍😄 We will surely come back for our next diving experience.

Dive only with dive professional! - A friend recommended Divegurus for me.
They are professional and take care of their students well. I had fear doing the mask removal as part of the training but they help me overcome it.
From Try Scuba to Divemaster, I did it with them.
Once you started and overcome your fears, it will be your addiction. Under water world is beautiful and you don’t like to stop exploring.

My Heart and Home in Boracay 🩷❤️ - I have been to Boracay countless times, but it is only in DiveGurus that I feel so at home. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and the dining experience is great! The prices of the rooms are reasonable for the services you get. On top of that, DiveGurus is beachfront at Station 3 with just the perfect lighting for all your photos. My selfies are always good at the receiving area (just a tip 😊) . If you are a diver, then this is the place to be. The instructors are amazing and very professional. I took my openwater course and Advanced Adventurer here. Their eauipment are new and well maintained. I highly recommend this place. I keep coming back and it never fails me.

Excellent Training - Friendly Instructors - I have completed my PADI Open Water Certification in DiveGurus. It is a very friendly nice diving centre with knowledgeable and patient instructors. They also have good quality equipment and own boat that will take you to any diving sites.
They are a bit on a side of White Beach which may be harder to find for those staying near the Mall. If you are there visit the restaurant upstairs which has an amazing sunset view and is not very crowded.

Open Water Referral Qual - First Class Service - Excellent service from Gracie and the team at Dive Gurus. I have just completed my Open Water Referral and over two days I had one to one tutoring with the excellent Gracie.
They're extremely flexible on timings to fit around our holiday and Gracie was also fantastic in taking her camera for photos and videos of my final dive which I now have forever.
I had a look at a couple of other dive centres before choosing Dive Gurus - the others seemed to cram more people onto their courses and their dives, but Dive Gurus seemed far more relaxed, flexible and had a more personal feel. Not overcrowded at all which as a beginner made the whole experience far less daunting than it could have been.
I cannot recommend Gracie and the rest of the team at dive Gurus enough - Fabulous experience and teaching at a very reasonable cost with the added touch of photos and videos which I did not expect at all.
10/10 would recommend.

Learning to Dive - We began to do the Discover Scuba Diving and continued to take the Open Water certification. Very experienced teachers that gave us a very safe and fun experience. We strongly recommend our teacher Gracie.
