Maitland Dark Stories True Crime Tour - It was raining and cold that night in September when 4 individuals set off from Maitland Station...... and they all had a cracking good time! What a great way to see the town. So many awesome stories about people from long ago. Most of the buildings spoken about are still standing! Laurie told the stories with passion and charisma, as did Mars with her wonderful repertoire of Dad jokes to lighten the mood. I would highly recommend both to spend a couple hours with on a Friday or Saturday night. You'll definitely learn more about Maitland.

Great night out! - Violet our guide did a superb job of immersing us back in time through story telling, The beautiful old buildings of Maitland were a treat to experience from this point of view. I also loved that the guide has photos of some of the people in the stories and what certain buildings looked like and/or where surrounded by back in the time of the tale to really help you visualize. Great atmosphere with good company of other eager ticket holders eager to enjoy touring the city. I felt safe as a solo female traveler coming from the Central Coast.

Fantastic! - Violet was amazing! My wife and I had a really good time, there was a good variety of stories and the atmosphere of Maitland at night is amazing.
The moon was massive and yellow too which really added to it
Highly recommend, violet is really good at taking your imagination to the place and time and the event.
I'd encourage you to wear comfy shoes and cover up or bring mosquito spray
But seriously couldn't recommend enough

Excellent highly recommend the Maitland Tour - I took the Maitland Dark Stories Crime Tour I was meet by Yasmine, who made me feel welcome. Yasmine was an excellent guide and her knowledge of the area and the crimes was excellent not to mention her quirky sense of humor kept us laughing when we weren't squirming. Well done Yasmine

Excellent Tour - We really enjoyed this experience. We loved the stories that were told and looking at all the old buildings. The two things I would change is the walking pace. It says in the advertisement it is a leisurely walk but it was far from that. The other thing that could change is where the tour ended. We expected it to finish where it started and not leave us a kilometre from the train station. We are glad it was daylight....would hate for two women to be walking alone through Maitland to the train station at night.
