Having served England’s kings and queens during the middle ages, and later transformed into a stylish 20th century sanctuary by Lady Baillie, an Anglo-American heiress, Leeds Castle’s extraordinary heritage has made it one of Britain’s most popular historical sites. There is plenty to experience, from wandering through the Princess Alexandra Gardens and indulging in afternoon teas, to witnessing spectacular falconry shows and engaging the family in a round of adventure golf.

A step back in time but has so much for everyone to enjoy m. - I have over the years been able to enjoy this beautiful, intact and historic castle in with my family and friends which brings to vision of a warm home when Lady Baille brought it; to more than just stone building by restoring and leaving through a foundation for everyone to just appreciate and It embraces the life and history which expanses though so many centuries. I would recommend taking time to just listen, look at so many parts of this lovely castle (doors, wooden panels, courtyards, portraits, presentations, and the many caring changes to ensure everyone enjoys it for years to come and brings memories and stories remembered. This is without the beautiful grounds with a lake boat to save and stressful time encouraging people who want to visit the Falconry's, maze, play golf, picnic area, cafe offer a wide choice of reasonable priced food and children play forts. I have decided to volunteer to just enjoy giving so much back to this part of history for ever and the time which my family just loved running around through.

Leeds Castle - Leeds Castle is a fabulous experience and excellent value for money. The castle and its history are incredibly interesting, the interior of the castle itself is extremely well preserved with amazing features. The staff are very helpful and obviously love their work, the gardens and grounds are immaculate, the on site catering is very good and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!👍

Stunning vist! Highly recommend - Stunning! Beautiful walk round today through the wonderfully tended gardens and blossoming trees. Everywhere is so well cared for and the gardeners do a wonderful job. Lovely to see everything coming to life! Would have given 5 * but the cafe is very disappointing. Like warm coffee, (when asked for hotter, was told that's how it comes out of machine)dirty tables, no evidence of any leadership! We will just bring our own next time.

Great place but too expensive for a one off visit. - Great place to visit, very interest. The grounds and castle are very impressive. The maze was great fun. However this was all tainted by the cost of entry. There was only one choice of payment £32 each. Now that was not only for one day but entitled you to an all year pass which is great. How as a foreign tourist we were only ever going to visit once and there was no option for a lesser payment for a one day visit. Also we visited in the winter when some of the attractions/activities were not available, such as the falconry exhibition again no reduction in price because of this. I believe your pricing policy should allow for a one off visit as i am sure there are many non UK resident tourist who want to visit Leeds Castle. Also there should be summer and winter price as some things were not available during the winter months

Great place, poor communication to customers - Its a very beautiful setting! However there was no mention on the website that you would need to get there early to 1) avoid the last entry to Narnia at 3pm 2) queue for over an hour to get in to it 3) be rushed around the exhibition, so others could be rushed around after you. My hats off to all the actors, who must have been shattered. Although we were rushed past Mr Tumnus, so my children couldn't get a photo with him unfortunately. The exhibition itself was fantastic, for what we saw. It was relatively organised with the car parking etc. However, there should have been good notice about the crazy queues on in place and also the closure time of the last entry etc. We went back the next day to go to the Maze, to get there at 1400 and be told it was also closed at 1400.

A soured experience - The venue is obviously stunning and there is plenty for the kids to do but a couple of things soured the experience. **BE CAREFUL** I had used £12.50 worth of Tesco Clubcard points which equated to £25 off of our tickets. Great, i thought as this would pay for one of the child tickets as i was paying £150 for 3 Adults plus an additional child. The fact that i had used the Club card points to pay for one of the tickets invalidated the upgrade to a yearly pass..for all of the tickets...even though they are the same price. The manner in which the manager then dealt with us was very unprofessional. Eventually we reluctantly paid a surcharge to upgrade the child ticket which was £6, laughable after the amount of money we had parted with. We queued up for the Narnia experience which was very underwhelming which was a shame as the location and grounds are amazing.

TERRIBLE! CROWDS AND QUEUES! NOT HOW IT USED TO BE. Manic kids playground - TERRIBLE!! *** PLEASE avoid if you have disabled (Autistic) children or adults. Yes I visited at a busy time but the crowds were crazy. Paid for ticket and only spent one hour there due to the crowds and queues. Such a shame. I used to visit often with my children that are now adults. I can see the response from other bad reviews is that the ticket gives us free visits for a year. Well that is not true as the ticket cost £35!! £35 for less than an hour visit is crazy. VERY DISAPPOINTED is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!
