Great day with great guides! - It was excellent! It was a beautiful hike with Domenic, who had the perfect mix of telling me about local plants and animal life and letting me do my thing and enjoy nature. My driver, Jimmy, was also excellent! He shared a lot of information too and I appreciated his good driving skills. I also very much enjoyed the boat ride and thought the boat operator, John, was great too. I got to be quite close to a whole family of hippos — which was very cool — and he answered all my questions, and I had many!

Very good tour - Was a great experience visiting Mt. Longonot together with an other guest on a shared tour. They were really competent and friendly. They were on time and were driving safely. So all in all I can recommend this tour!

Great way to get out in the landscape! - Driver Jimmy and guide Dominic could not have been more friendly and delightful to spend the day with. They were both full of information — about the landscape and ecology — but also fascinating to chat with about Kenyan schooling, culture, and politics. The hike itself was satisfyingly strenuous — the altitude makes it a little tougher if you're not used to it, and it's steep and slippery in a few parts, but if you hike regularly, not a big deal. We had it almost to ourselves around the rim, though there were tons of schoolkids on the hike up to the rim (apparently if you want to avoid them and the dust they kick up — considerable! — don't come on a Friday!). Lots of giraffes, elands, gazelles, and zebras, lots of flowers, and gorgeous views. Then I went out on Lake Naivasha with boatman John, and that was incredible too. He was amazing at spotting birds and we saw the most adorable baby hippo playtime. It was so nice to be out in the landscape with all the wildlife rather than in a vehicle, for a change! I didn't want to go to a tourist restaurant or curio shop, and Jimmy was fine with that. Altogether a great day, and highly recommended.

Amazing experience - The hike to Mount Longonot was beautiful—we even saw some zebras on the way up and down! And our guide, Dominic, was amazing. Super patient while I huffed and puffed up the mountain! Jimmy, our driver, was so patient and friendly as well. The Lake Naivasha tour was also so beautiful and we saw so many animals! Such a great day!!

Amazing day out! - Dominic & Jimmy made this trip so amazing! Driver & hike tour double act…. They really are fantastic hosts. Expertly driven, the hike is incredible, the lake was beautiful and spending the day with Jimmy & Dominic was just a barrel of laughs.
I am no hiker so found the uphill sections of the hike a little challenging but managed the whole hike including the crater perimeter in just shy of 5 hours. The views are truly spectacular. It was 100% worth the effort.
The lake boat tour was beautiful and I had a super enthusiast boatman who told me so much about the wildlife.
All day we chatted away and although the tour visits in themselves were amazing, it was Jimmy & Dominic who really made the day. Thank you so much and definitely recommend this trip!!

Mt longonot adventure - James, our driver for the day, was as delightful. His friendly demeanor and engaging conversation made the drive enjoyable and set a positive tone for the adventure ahead.
Upon arrival at Mt. Longonot, we began our climb with plenty of time to take in the stunning views along the way.
We did feel the altitude as we climb, but walked at our own pace to reach the top.The start point is higher than the 400 meters climb from there.The trail was challenging yet rewarding, offering panoramic vistas and a true sense of accomplishment as we reached the crater rim.
You could see Lake Naivasha from the top of mountain and even little bits of hell's gate national park from far

Animals, volcanoes, good weather and great vibes - Had a blast on this hike! Gorgeous views and landscape. We saw giraffes, zebras, and antelope in the distance! It was definitely a challenging hike but it was a great work out and well worth it. Dominic and Jimmy picked us up on time and were great company! Car was also clean and reliable.
