- Nagarkot View Tower - You will start the trip to Nagarkot before dawn. The drive is about one and a half hours to Nagarkot View Point. Nagarkot is a hill station which is famous for it’s sunrise and sunset view with panoramic scenery. The drive will be through the local settlements surrounded by trees. As you reach the viewpoint, grab a little spot to enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the towering Himalayas. The perspective will give you a glimpse of 8 Himalayan ranges, including many snowy peaks like Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna, and even Mt. Everest from the point. You will observe the bright rays of sun touching the tip of mountains, turning them from bright orange and red to snowy white in color. Wonderful day in Nepal - Tour guide was on time. Van was clean. Tour guide helped us with pictures. Tour guide drove us to park to eat bro. Very nice leisurely hike to many parts of the village. Tour guide was very helpful.

Fantastic day trip - This is a fantastic experience for folks visiting Kathmandu. I definitely recommend it. My guide Ananta was amazingly knowledgeable and friendly, and saw to it that everything was perfectly taken care of. The weather wasn't on our side for the mountain views but he made the experience worth it.

Well worth getting up early for! - Take this tour! What an incredible experience! Well, it requires getting up early, seeing the sunrise over the majestic Himalayas makes it all worthwhile. That said, just as memorable was the hike that followed. To have the chance to experience the beauty of the Kathmandu Valley and see authentic Nepalese village life was truly unforgettable. And what brought it all together was the fantastic tour guide, Shishir Thapa. He clearly loves his country and his job and it shows in how he kindly and patiently answers questions and provides helpful information. It is a day that you will not forget!

A must when in Kathmandu - The pre-dawn wake up call was rough but the sunrise view and the view of the Himalayas peak was priceless. My wife and I have seen a number of sunrises before, however, the Himalaya & Mt. Everest peak backdrop was one of a kind. Our guide, Sarita, took us to Himalaya Club Hotel for breakfast (not part of the package) with a gorgeous view of the Nagarkot hills area. She then took us to the hike starting point, about 10 minutes away, and start a 11.5 hike (mostly descending - hiking stick recommended) thru the local areas giving us a flavor of the local daily activities & community. The whole experience worth every penny of it and Sarita was the perfect guide as she is knowledgeable about the area, culture, speak very good english and very understanding of our needs and limitation. We ended up requesting her service throughout our stay in Kathmandu.

Much more wonder than expected! - Fantastic experience! Pankaj was knowledgeable and patient with my endless questions, all of which he answered completely. Between Pankaj and Gopal, our skilled driver, I cant imagine being in more capable hands.
They enabled me to experience far more of Kathmandu’s wonders than I’d understood from the trip description, far exceeding all expectations!

Overall great - We had a great tour experience, ourr guid Shishir was great as well as our driver and a very nice electric car. The views for sunset were a little foggy in my opinion but that does not depend on the guides or anyone really. Stop for breakfast was really good and then final stop at the antient temple was superb.

Great tour - It was a great experience. Although leaving the hotel at 4:50 am was a little hard, it was definitely worth it. The transportation was quite confortable and the sunrise was absolutely stunning, completely different from all sunrises I have ever seen before. However, it was a bit cloudy, that's why we could not see the Himalayans. That's something that should be kept in mind. Good weather cannot be guaranteed. The following hike through Nargakot village was amazing. It is a very calming village and the view and the nature are beautiful. Our guide, Shishir, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Altogether, a great trip. I can definitely recommend it but keep in mind that the weather also is a factor.

Beauty and Culture in a wonderful day hike in Kathmandu Valley - Our guide Shishir made this hike one of our most enjoyable and memorable activities in Nepal. The amazing sunrise over the Himalayas and hike through local villages and experiencing the local culture and beauty of the Kathmandu Valley was an experience we will never forget. But the best part of the day was conversing with Shishir about Nepal, both the culture and its natural beauty. Best tour if you want to absorb natures and cultures of Nagarkot - That was the best tour! At first I was little bit nervous of joining this tour because I’m female doing solo trip, but the guide Shishir and the driver made me feel comfortable and secured at all time. The pickup in the morning was really smooth, and the sunrise view was just amazing. I enjoyed having breakfast, hiking and visiting temples too.
Shishir was not only a good guide, but also a good photographer. He took more than 50 photos and videos of me during the tour. Overall, the experience was amazing!!
