A guide will assist you throughout the activity! If you don’t spot a turtle, as they live in their natural habitat, you’ll receive an additional 20 minutes of snorkeling.

To get off the cruise there are options: The safest way to get there is by taxi, you take the taxi leaving the port and you will give the address to the driver who will take you directly to us. If you need transportation included, it has an extra cost! You must notify us 1 day before!

Tour guides are friendly... - Tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Answers all questions, gives you chances to free swim, points out all types of sea life. Out in the water for a decent amount of time, tour guide Taidor always checks on you to make sure you are okay. He always stayed close to my 10 year old, and showed her all the wonders the reef had. Highly recommend.

Snorkeling fun! - Easy taxi ride from the port. We had a 2:30 pm reservation but they werw able to get us in early, very nice. 30 mn snorkeling and our guide took pics of us to capture the experience. The crew were friendly and the whole time we had a blast. We ate at the beach club afterwards, very good food too! Highly recommend this trip if you wanna snorkle and have 45 mns to an hour to spare.

Rained out - The waves were rough and the operator gave us the option to cancel. We were so impressed with there honesty about the conditions and look forward to returning to try again.

Fun First Time Snorkeling Experience - It was me and my wife's first time ever snorkeling. We had a blast. We saw some really cool turtles and stingrays. We started a bit later than what our booking said but that didn't affect our overall experience. The guide was helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend

excellent snorkel with the turtles experience in Costa Maya - One of my best goals is to swim and snorkel with a sea turtle and our snorkel tour guide found one that me and my family enjoyed watching for about 30 minutes. It was a true joy! hopefully we go snorkeling with the turtles in Costa Maya sometime soon

Great snorkling experience! - Even though thr conditions at Costa Maya was a little rough, the crew was trying their best to privide us with a good snorkling experience. We couldn't find any turle unfortunately but overall we had a good time.

Good excursion, difficult to access - It was difficult to navigate from the cruise port to the snorkeling area via taxi. The taxi area was not very organized. Once we arrived, the staff was very nice.

Lost confidence in Viator - The weather was bad so they told us we could pay additional money and see the turtles, or we could cancel. They did not speak English which made communicating difficult. We asked them to refund what we had paid because we did not want to spend additional money to go out in bad weather. They told us we had to cancel online. Now, Viator notified us that it may take 7 days to verify with the operator and refund what we paid. Please understand, we showed up for the excursion….. they did not keep their end of the deal. The very rustic setting did not bother me, but my wife did not feel safe. If we had booked through the cruise ship, we would have felt safe, got an immediate refund and not been asked to pay additional money. We also would had known about the trip cancellation without paying for transportation to the operator. On the positive side……. Everyone was very nice. That is why they got 1 star. If you want to try this excursion it may be fun in better weather. However, I would not have enough trust in the operator to try again. I also have lost confidence in Viator for not having a better weather cancellation procedure with their operators.

Don't waste your time or money with this trip!!! - Vendor should have let us know boat was broke and not said it was red tide? Requesting a full refund! Vendor should pay$10 taxi to and from ship!!!
