Awesome beach. - Beautiful private beach. Well secluded and quiet. Food was amazing. The ceviche was the best I have ever had, and the guacamole was up there as well. The dogs are super friendly and will immediately greet you and hang out with you the whole time. The snorkeling is actually really good! The beach is located on a protected reef area with quite a bit of very shallow water. You can stand up in most of it, even when you are quite a way from shore. There is a lot of wildlife under the water as well.
There is kelp washing up on the shore, but that is very typical for the area. Don't let that prevent you from enjoying this wonderful area!!!

Mexican Yucatan's Best Secret - Really, this experience is what you choose to make of it. Our group of 7 mostly relaxed in the shade at the large table, as Teresa and her crew graciously served up plenty of delicious food and refreshing drinks. A couple from another ship joined us shortly after we arrived. Some of us took a dip in the water, did some snorkeling and kayaking. Yes, there’s sargassum, but that’s just Mother Nature. Our time here felt different from others’ here —Teresa and her team crafted incredible drinks, using top-quality tequila that packed a real punch. She even brought out several rounds of shots for everyone—so much fun, we literally had to tell her "no más." Honestly, we could have easily spent two to three times more in port just on drinks alone. Pair that with freshly made guacamole, shrimp ceviche, pico de gallo, and steak tacos — all included- this tour was absolutely worth every penny. This isn’t your typical American or European style resort; this is the authentic Mexican Yucatán — warm, genuine, relaxing, with a host who uplifted us with her hospitality. We would wholeheartedly choose this experience again in a heartbeat. It's a 45 minute taxi ride each way - the taxi fare is included too. Also, be prepared for a 15 minute walk to/from your cruise ship.

Private Beach Paradise - This could not have been a better excursion! We came in on a cruise, and were given instructions prior to disembarking on where we would meet our driver (slightly confusing as you have to walk around the port town and head towards the pyramid). Once we found the driver, it was a 30 min drive to the beach, which was beautifully secluded and nestled among the mangroves. Throughout the day, we always had a drink in hand and had delicious chips/guac, mango and beef tacos for lunch. We used the snorkeling masks and kayak to explore the surrounding waters (very shallow and sandy - lots of seaweed this time of year, but out past the initial seaweed, the water is crystal clear). Theresa was such a kind and accommodating host - it truly feels as if a friend is hosting you, and is the opposite of touristy with lots of locals frequenting the beach, as well. Overall, could not recommend this more!

Amazing Preserve Place - If you enjoy nature, beverages, and some delicious local foods (ceviche, tacos, and guacamole) this is a great place to go.
Teresa is a great, well traveled hostess; speaks Spanish, English, and French and takes care of that reserve area. Edson (“Chino”) is the bartender and between them two, they really took care of us.
The beach is beautiful but had a lot of algae (sargassum) when we went. We were told it clears out during the cooler months, October through April, and starts coming back during the warmer months. Regardless, you can always swim and snorkel and you can see plenty of aquatic life, fish, stingrays, etc. There was a protected tortoise nest almost in front of us seating in the shade under some trees.
We let them know the time we expected to be at their location via Trip Advisor. To get there you need to walk outside of the tourist area on the Main Street until you get to the rotunda with a pyramid (easy to see). There are several tourists services and you need to ask for the right one. They will have a taxi driver to take you there and bring you back.

What a day! 🥳🏝️ - This place is beautiful! It was a welcome quiet space away from the cruise ship. My husband and I went with our friends and we had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff was warm, kind, welcoming, attentive, and made the day what it was. Muchos gracias for everything!

A Hidden Gem Away From The Crowds - If you want to get away from the crowds, this is where you should be. It's about 30 minutes from the cruise port, and limited to 35 guests. The day we were there, there were only about 15 people in total. Lots of shade (important for my wife), decent drinks, and nice sand. They have kayaks available for use if you like. Lunch was chips and guacamole, beef tacos, and ceviche. All very good, but watch out for the sauce with the tacos...a little goes a long way heat-wise! And whike you're there, try their Pink Floyd cocktail.
Teresa was a wonderful host. She's been doing this a while, and you can tell she has a deep appreciation for the place. It didn't feel like an excursion...it felt like we went to a friend's house. Considering that everything (including the cab rides to and from there, it's a great deal.
Note: There was seaweed on the beach, but there were raked areas so you could get to the water. This is not a ding against the beach...it's nature. They don't have a knob behind the bar marked "Seaweed" that they can turn down.

Perfect Day in Costa Maya - So glad I found this hideaway. This excursion was one of our best cruise experiences- As soon as we docked we had a text from transportation asking when we would be ready (not rushing at all). It was a 25minute drive from port. We headed that way at 11:00a.m. Amazing service, from hostess with Coral-Go made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The food was fresh and yummy. We had Guacamole, Shrimp Ceviche, and Carna Asada street tacos. Drinks were a plenty. We were only 2 of 7 people there. If you want a day to relax,
don't pass this up. (Note: Do Not go into the shopping area) go to the right towards the parking lot. I will be using Coral-Go for future excursions.

Authentic get away. - The host are fantastic From taxi to and from the beach all where friendly and helpful. At first the travel to beach was questionable as not much to see. However as soon as we got to the private beach th host made us feel so welcome. Drinks are great. Food was very enjoyable. The beach area could be cleaned up some. Lots of sea weed type debris but there has been lots of storms lately. Still yet for my wife and I it was great. Only 7 people total plus two host. Can’t beat it.

Disappointing - Not at all what we expected. To start, we were supposed to have a guide that spoke English, ours did not. It took us about 45 minutes to drive to the beach from the cruise port. When we arrived, our "guide" left. The staff members at the beach were friendly; however, the beach was rocky, smelly, and full of seaweed. Trash could be seen on the beach as well. The tacos were good but the drinks were very watered down; they did not seem to have any alcohol at all.
