The meetup spot was kinda... - The meetup spot was kinda hard to find but Jhonny was great with communication and guiding us there. We met our driver, Antonio, and we set off for the ruins. It was about a 50 minute drive. The A/C was nice because it was quite humid. Antonio told us about the local towns and some other facts about the area. He was very kind and even let me practice some Spanish. He introduced us to our guide at the ruins and then our tour began. This was an amazing tour. We brought our daughters who were doing research about the Mayan civilization. They were fascinated. Our guide not only told us about the ruins but also the plants they used for various things like medicine and cooking. After the tour, Antonio met up with us and took us to the beach club, our second stop. Along the way, we were able to purchase fresh pineapples for a snack from a road side vendor. The beach club was lovely and the food and drinks were great. We then left to return to our cruise ship. We would highly recommend this tour and company to others.

Friendly, convenient way do explore Costa Maya - Great hire car service, they'll take you out to see the ruins (incredible location, much larger than we expected, plan on an hour+) while your driver waits patiently. We really enjoyed the beach side restaurant they took us to, but you could really explore anywhere, just ask! Our driver Andy was sweet and we even met his daughter!

Great get in costa maya - Very affordable and enjoyable tour from costa maya port. We were picked up by our driver just outside gate and driven to the famous ruins approx 45 min away. The tour included admission but not guide but there was an online guide we followed including signs at the park. Since it was a private tour our needs were catered to including skipping the beach and having a nice lunch and some shopping. Our guide Antonio went above and beyond to make our experience fulfilled including taking us to a sign of costa maya with our cruise ship in the background. Would def recommend especially for the price and service offered!!! Can’t wait to use them again in the future!!!

Wonderful Local Tour - We were on the Carnival Jubilee in July and stopped in Costa Maya on a Wednesday. I wanted to take my kids to see the Chacchoben Mayan ruins. We booked this excursion through Viator since it was private and included a beach stop. We traveled with two female adults and two children after one of our party was too tired from the previous day.
The pickup timing was very flexible. Jhonny ended up waiting for us since we got a late start. We must have just missed him (bathroom break?) as we passed security and proceeded to the Google Maps meeting point, which was a little off from the correct area. The meeting spot is just past the security gate where a group of guides will be located with signs. Jhonny had a large sign with my name on it.
Jhonny was a wonderful guide! The car was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning on a long car ride in July. Jhonny dealt with the Chacchoben tickets and walked with us through the ruins, providing some historical information. We saw wild spider monkeys and really enjoyed our time there.
We weren't exactly sure what we wanted to do other than the ruins, so he provided suggestions along the way. We stopped for local pineapple and dragon fruit, stopped at a local shop for a tequila tasting, and then proceeded to the beach. Jhonny works with a wonderful local restaurant, where we were able to choose a table and/or beach chairs. We ordered margaritas, guacamole, grilled garlic shrimp, and grilled fresh red snapper (which came with a variety of sides). Everything was delicious! I was worried it would be too much food, but my kids loved the snapper and devoured everything.
Once we were ready to leave, Jhonny returned us back to the cruise terminal. Drop off is closer than pick up since you can go past the security gate.
We would definitely use the service again! Thank you Jhonny!

Loved Jhonny and what a Great Day! - Great day with Jhonny. He was a sweetheart. We paid for a guide at the ruins but didn’t mind and Johnny just thought they knew so much so we went for it. Also had a great afternoon on the beach. Great food, cold drinks, shops, and even a massage. A great day.

It's like taking a tour with someone in the family - Our driver Saul, a 10 out of 10 !!! I knew everyone there!!! Then in the ruins our guide Carlos another 10 !!! He did a tour for the whole family, and great the shades of the trees. Saul took us to eat tacos at a typical bar and it was wonderful, we also ate pineapple in bags!! What we loved was the beach ... we didn't even bathe and that we were looking forward to. The beach staff very friendly, we forgot a mobile in the
Wc and they kept it until we went after it... a shame it didn't accompany the sea... .

Efficient Service but expensive ride by what it offers - We hired the Private Transport Service for my family (8 people) to the Ruins of Chacchoben and Mahahual Beach. In the ruins, we chose not to hire the guided tour, so our guide helped us just by taking some pictures. The visit to the beach ended up not fully meeting our expectations, as there were many walkers and some areas were surrounded due to the algae season. We had a small problem with the reservation, which was quickly resolved by Enterprise. The Service provided was good, but, in our opinion, the tour presents a high cost compared to what it offers.

Misleading - Tour guide was not a tour guide but just a driver. He drove us to ruins and left us with almost no information.
Despite asking which beach we will be taken to we were not mentioned. Eventually took us to some random place which was not a beach at all. We were asked to spend time near a shop that driver had some connection.
There is another story on the attitude of shop owner.
