Gorgeous blue, take some biodegradable cream - Nice moment with only Mexicans, the guide didn't speak English but it was still nice. 5 hours with rapidos and fruit on the boat. On the other hand, you can forget your mask and snorkel... there's nothing. We burned badly because we didn't have biodegradable sunscreen to maintain the lagoon

Bacalar lagoon adventure! - This excursion to the freshwater lagoon was amazing.. The water was crystal clear and enjoyable to swim in. Jhoana our host was especially friendly and told us all about the area and was kind enough to pack a loaded cooler full of water, soda and beer. She also made fresh quacamole for the group! It was a great day, I highly recommend this tour.

A Perfect Day - We had the best shore excursion ever with Jhoana at Lake Bacalar. Her communication in advance was great, she went above and beyond to make sure everyone had whatever was needed during the trip and even emailed us her pics of our group afterward. I highly recommend this tour--memories made for a lifetime!

Bacalar excursion - Not the best experience. Showed up on time for the excursion and then proceeded to wait for over an hour for a family to get to the van so we could drive to the lagoon. While trip felt rushed to make sure we would make it back on time. Guide for the drive and guide for the lagoon were not very informative and barely interacted with the group. would not recommend.

Pretty, not super informative. - The water is absolutely beautiful! Our guide was kind, but only gave us information while we were on the boat. We are used to our guide telling us about the country/city at least some while we are on the long van ride to the destination. It was also really tough because they only had alcohol and soda on the boat, we really could have used some water.

Not worth the money for the 1.5 hr drive! - Worst excursion and contact information. To start off they sent an email stating we would be on island time when I was on a cruise ship with NO internet. There was no place on the original post that states it was on island time not ship time. Then once we were texted RUDELY we rushed to get to the meeting spot. Finally on the bus, we find out it’s 1.5 hr drive to the boat ride. We even had to stop for the bus drive to use the bathroom. Once we get to the boat place. We get on a party boat and told we have to wear life jackets the entire time. Supposed to be all you can drink, well you better bring your own glass because our host didn’t have glasses and tried to give us the boat drivers dirty glass to drink out of. They had very limited beer and only tequila. Nothing else. DEFINITELY NO MARGARITAS!! Then we did a 10 min tour of the 7 colors, which we were able to see all, we were allowed 40 minutes in the water to swim. Once back on the boat we were taken back to the island and given a great flavor lunch. After 20 mins to eat we were ushered back to the bus to head to the fort for pictures. We pull up to this place, not the fort, for everyone to take pics of a cenote. Once back on the bus we weee taken back to the port 1.5 hr drive again. You spent more time on the bus then anything else. Now while on the bus we thought we could get some kind of talking from the host about where we were and what was around us. NOPE he didn’t speak a word to us. No historical facts or even a joke. This is definitely an excursion I WILL NOT do again! Oh 2 stars bc the food was good.
