Beautiful wine shop and amazing wine tasting experience! - I booked this activity for myself and my boyfriend to do whilst in Madrid and I am so glad I came accrocs this! We had an absolutely incredible time and got to meet some great people who were also booked on to the wine tasting. The staff in this shop are fantastic and served us some lovely wine! The experience was really good value for money and I would definitely recommend wine tasting in Madrid and Darracott.

A Hidden Gem in Central Madrid, Book a Tasting Experience - You want to reserve a tasting experience in this lovey shop to round out your immersion in Madrid's wine and cocktail culture. Prior to our visit I read several fascinating essays on the resurgence of Spanish vermouth ("vermut") which you can locate online, and stumbled on this little shop of libations. Luke Darracott, the proprietor, is an amiable raconteur and authority on Spanish wines and his vermouth tasting experience is a deep dive into this uniquely Spanish drink rich in history and tradition. Book in advance online and be sure to order the optional accompanying tapas plates. And if you're an American visiting Spain, know that there is no TSA limit on the number of bottles of wine (anything under 21% alcohol) you can bring back to the US. Amazon sells insulated wine bags to use in your checked luggage and Luke will be happy to fill your suitcase with varieties you won't be able to find back home. Highly recommend.

A nice snack in the busy city! - A fun, funny way to get acquainted with wine tasting. Tasted three different wines (1 white and 2 red wines) and got an explanation.

Informative and Fun - This wine tasting was really fun as well as informative. Luke is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about Spanish wines and regions. He is also very funny! My daughter and I definitely recommend it!

This Is A Must Do Experience! - This was a fantastic wine tasting! I was unfamiliar with Spanish wines... except for tempranilla... and this was very enjoyable and informative! All of the other people were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting about our vacation times in Spain. I found some new Spanish favorites to search for in the US. Luke was a great host and I highly recommend this experience!

Fun experience. - It was a good presentation, but we only tried 3 wines, that was a first. We would have rather had less wine as my friend didn't like one of the wines. It would be better to try 5 wines with a much less amount per tasting.. The presentation and atmosphere was light and funny.
