Memorial de Madrid Río - Our rendezvous is at the San Vicente roundabout, near the Principe Pio metro station. You can catch buses 46 and 75 from Gran Via or Plaza de España, and it’s just a 10-minute journey.
Puerta de San Vicente - This is one of Madrid’s decorative gates, crafted by Francesco Sabatini in the 18th century. There seems to be a mistake in its design. Can you spot it?
Campo del Moro - This is the most significant historical garden we possess, both in size and its ties to the monarchy. Yet, it remains relatively obscure. You’ll find out the reason.
Jardines de Sabatini - We’ve got a “hidden path” that connects one garden to another. These gardens, which were once the site of the Royal Stables, now enhance the northern front of the Palace. Join us as we stroll through the flower beds and uncover some interesting facts.
Jardines del Cabo Noval - Three gardens adorn the eastern side of the Palace: those of Cabo Noval, the East, and Lepanto. We’ll share the details of their inception, timing, and purpose.
Royal Palace of Madrid - Following our exploration, we’ll pause briefly before we proceed to the interior of the Royal Palace. Spanning over 100,000 m2 with more than 3,000 chambers, it symbolizes authority and has been the residence of a vast household for generations: the royal family and the entourage of power that surrounds them.
