- Synagogue of Saint Mary the White - This Mudéjar construction was built in 1180. It has five naves separated by pillars supporting horseshoe arches. In the 15th century it was converted into a church, although today it is simply a monument which is open to visitors. It has a coffered wooden ceiling, Plateresque altars and an altarpiece by the school of Berruguete.

It holds the titles as one of the oldest cities in Europe, adorned with architectural wonders from various historical periods including Arabian, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Known as the ‘City of the Three Cultures,’ Toledo has a rich history shaped by the coexistence of Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Moreover, the renowned painter, El Greco, made it his home during the XVI century.
Upon arrival in Toledo, you have the flexibility to spend your day as you please. A guided walk lasting an hour is part of the experience.

A town worth spending more time exploring. - The bus ride from Madrid to Toledo was very comfortable and shorter than we expected. Our tour guide, Arantxa, who was extremely nice and dynamic, made it quite interesting along the way and while we were there. Event though we signed up for the tour on our own, she guided us though the first few stops of the city. I wish we would have stayed longer, though, as there is so much to see in this city. Definitely going back next year!

Magnificent Toledo - The tour was a wonderful experience. Toledo is magic. The Cathedral and other monuments make you go back in history and live again those moments.
The tour guide was very cooperative and always eager to answer our inquiries.

Toledo tour - Excellent service and tour . Both the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. If you have young children than can choose this tour as after the 1st hour you go with your own pace .Highly recommended

At Your Own Pace Type Tour - My family and I had already taken the Avila/Segovia tour with this company, and I must say I honestly preferred this one more!
Pick up was the same as the other tour, so we met at the meeting point at 8:45 am then got picked up by the tour bus at 9:00 am, where it took about an hour to reach Toledo. When we got there, it was was a short hike to the top, but there were escalators so bless! Christina was once again the tour guide and led us to the main town square, Plaza de Zocodover, which would act as our meeting point when we all met again at 3:30 pm. Because this was a "do at your own pace" tour, we had free reign, meaning we were able to check out the monuments but still had time to do some shopping. I really can't complain about that!

Toledo - Trip could be much better. travel agency fun,etc charge an additional $140 on top of original payment of $202 for a trip.

Not as Described - From the description I thought I was being given transportation and the wristband to get into the various sites. Unfortunately, no. It was a walking tour with a larger (20ish) group. The guide was very knowledgeable but I felt like every stop - and random stops along the street - took forever! The guide explaining everything in English and Spanish added to the time too. I ended up leaving the tour and exploring on my own. I wouldn't recommend this tour, instead just grab a train, about 30 min from Madrid, and buy the wristband yourself or just wander on your own.
