Royal Palace of Madrid - The Royal Palace of Madrid is considered one of the largest in Europe. Since Felipe V in 1735 decided to build the Royal Palace after the fire of the old Alcázar, it is when the kings from Carlos III to Alfonso XIII began to live.
The different rooms will be visited and we will be able to admire part of the watch collection, the rugs, the lamps, the frescoes by Rafael Mengs or Corrado Giaquinto, the Stradivarius collection…
Our visit will also guide you through the Royal Armory whose collection has its origin in the testamentary dispositions of King Felipe II, currently constituting one of the jewels of the Spanish Historical Heritage.
In the exhibition we will be able to observe some examples in which they were used in the court portraits painted by the great masters, such as Titian and Rubens, and the pieces of armor worn by the monarchs to symbolize their image of power at the time of maximum splendor of the Spanish Crown.

Very good tour - The palace is interesting, though not as opulent as Versailles. Our guide, Amaya, was excellent. We learned a great deal about Spanish history

A beautiful display of Spanish History - The Royal Palace is just beautiful and full of history. Our guide took us on a real journey through the history of Spain with excellent explanations of all the items/paintings/architecture on display. Full credit to our guide as we would not have appreciated even a small percentage of what we saw without her there. A definite must-see in Madrid!

Great visit, great Palace - We were fascinated by the Royal Palace, the guide was incredible and a great professional who explained everything to us with great detail and passion. He also showed us the armory museum, it is one of the most important in Europe, very interesting and luxurious!

Very expensive error - The guide was great!
We were taken advantage of by the phone reservation person. She sold us a double tour. I explicitly asked for the Royal Palace tour only and when the tickets arrived in my email they included the Prado as well. We had already visited the Prado. It was a very expensive “error”.
