Segways are the way to go! - Segways are the way to go to Retiró Park! Cool breeze even in a heat wave! Andrea was so patient as we stopped for pictures and very knowledgeable.

Absolute fun! - Super fun tour! You do go out in traffic though to get to the Park and back. Andrea was an excellent tour guide and took care of my son who wasn’t very comfortable on the Segway on hills and traffic. The park was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this tour!

An Unforgettable Segway Experience in Madrid! - I had an absolutely amazing time on my Segway tour through the heart of Madrid! I was lucky enough to have the tour all to myself, which made the experience even more personal and memorable. My guide, Oscar, was simply outstanding — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He made the entire ride entertaining, informative, and full of great stories about the city. Riding the Segway through the beautiful streets, plazas, and parks of Madrid was a perfect mix of adventure and excitement. Oscar’s guidance made me feel confident and safe, even as we zipped through narrow alleys and vibrant neighborhoods. It was such a unique and thrilling way to discover the city! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid — whether you’re solo or with a group, it’s a fantastic way to explore, and if you’re lucky enough to ride with Oscar, you’re in for a real treat!

Our first time on a Segway! - This was our first time riding a Segway! It turned out that my husband and I were the only people signed up for the tour. We started at the Wonder Tours shop, where they gave us a good lesson on how to ride a Segway, and let us practice in the street for a little while. And then Jacob led us on a 15-minute ride through Madrid streets into Retiro Park. It was a bit terrifying riding through Madrid on the highways, along with all the crazy traffic, but Jacob was right that we learned quickly how to control our Segways sufficiently. Once we get into the park, it was a lot more relaxing. Jacob was very knowledgeable and taught us lots of things about the park. He was very professional and always made sure we were safe. We really enjoyed this tour!

Segway Tour - Retiro Park - Madrid - Don't miss this!! So fun. Kudos to Carolina and Mica for encouraging me (I'm 78) and teaching me (my first time on a Segway) -- an experience I won't forget.

Tour Madrid Segway Parque del Retiro - Excellent tour!! We arrived to make the reservation the same day of the tour without any setback. Excellent attention from Ricardo and excellent guide Jacobo. Great way to see Madrid - but for January dress really warm! - Loved the Segway tour, and our guide Andrea. She was very knowledgeable and helped you feel comfortable learning to ride one. She was patient and kind. Highly recommend. It was a great way to see the city. Keep in mind tho, you do drive Segway thru streets not just at park. It didn’t seem safe but it was as people respect them.

The Good, Not-so-Good, and Unlucky - Tl;dr Wonderful Guide, inconvenient (to me) decisions by company Great tour guide (Andrea) who was insanely knowledgeable and friendly, and she took me to see some great off-the-beat places which was a good counter to my bad luck (Retiro park was closed that weekend). If you take this tour hopefully you get Andrea. As for the not-so-good, an hour into the trip, the 4 no show tourist that were originally scheduled decided to show up and my guide was forced to get them and bring them out (so my tour was interrupted and cut short). I wish the company had handled this differently since I am the one that missed out and the other tourists were the ones accomodated.

Great Way to See Madrid - Overall it was a great experience. Only gave 4 stars because we really only spent 15 of 90 minutes in Retiro Park. The rest of the time was spent traversing through the city to get to the park. The unexpected side benefit was we saw a part of the city we would have otherwise missed. Once we finished the tour we walked back down to the area of the city where the park was & spent the rest of the day exploring the area & taking a long walk (complete with a cold beer stop) back through the park. A very good day overall. Our guide David was great. Having never been on a Segway before, his pre-trip instruction was quite good to get us going & you really do get more comfortable riding & operating the Segway as the tour goes on. We had a family with us that really should not have tried the Segway tour (the daughter was too young & inattentive & the mother was too nervous) but David navigated them the best that he could. I’m sure we lost some sight seeing time because of them but David mitigated things as best that he could.

Add notes re: meet up spot - Should add some context in explanations / notes to warn that meet up spot is very far from Retiro Park. We got confused and by the time we figured out the meeting spot was on the opposite side of the city, we were going to miss 1/2. Giving 2 stars vs 1 because they offered to have someone meet us to catch us up but we were near the park when we realized. Requested refund or different time. Both denied. Found a private 1 hour private Segway tour at a competitor and it was perfect. Just us, 1 hour tour of park, 20 minute set up and 15 each way to park. Loved.
