Insightful tour guide - Belen was a wonderful guide. She provided the context to navigate our way through the many statistic periods. She also added valuable insights for a deeper understanding of some of the key works.

Alex is the best and I love art - Amazing tour with Alex (my tour guide). Alex taught me a LOT of history about Madrid and art and he went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. I was very lucky as I was alone with him for the tour, and this allowed him to really discuss with me the subject matter. I highly recommend this tour and I think it’s important to remember that Alex isn’t there to show you everything in the museum, but rather the most important in the museum. He told me himself : “I aim for quality, not quantity”. I really appreciated how kind he was and how full of explanations he was. I recommend taking this tour in the morning, and then eating at the museum, and then visit the museum in its entirety. It’s worth the experience and Alex allows you to understand a new perspective to the museum and it’s art. A+++++ must go if you are in Madrid!!

Magnificent Reina Sofia - The museum is beautiful and I loved to learn more about of either the well known Spanish artists or the ones that I haven’t heard about yet. So many great expression of art.

Maria is the best! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Reina Sofia with Maria. Our guide took the time to provide history of the artist as well as explanation for context of each of the paintings we visited. If visiting the Reina Sophia this tour/Maria is a must! Your experience will be much more enhanced with background.

Excellent Experimece - Belen was an excellent guide - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She didn’t just explain the artwork but she weaved a story about the time in which the different pieces of art were created. Highly recommend!!

Her enthusiasm, her expertise, and the ability to connect with my daughter and I, made an educational and a truly excepcional experience at Reina Sofia Museum. Through Spanish political and social history, its national identity and cultural heritage we understand and discovered much more than the Spanish art. “In art, what the artist wants, I believe too, it is the certainty that one spark of original genius shall not be extinguished” Mary Cassatt. The influences of Spanish artists are still ongoing contributions to the global art scene.

Experience Spain through Art - It was a fantastic tour! We learned a lot about the history of Spain through Art with Alex. He was very personable and knowledgeable creating an interactive experience discussing each piece of art and addressing all of our questions. We can not recommend this tour with Alex enough.

Every painting tells a story! - We thought our guide (Stefi) was great. She provided interesting backstories for much of the artwork and we really appreciated that. Stefi had a great understanding of the history behind the important pieces. Overall, this information made the experience more engaging.
