Marvelous - Seeing the Roman acuaduct in person. And getting to know the difference between American oak and French oak.

Quaint Spain with some Wine - Segovia was so beautiful and quaint. I would love to come back again to explore more, but one day was a nice taste. The winery was fun and the wine was great. I think choosing a winery actually in Segovia or closer to town would be better, but the winery itself was great.

Absolutely worth it - Amazing tour!! Our tour guide Laura was very informative, and did an amazing job explaining things in both Spanish and English. The wine tasting was delicious and educational. I was very impressed by the production and care they take into making the wines. Segovia was very romantic and full of little shops that kept us very entertained. Make sure you go and get the Segovian ponche before you leave (a pastry that is specific to that region). I only wish I had more time, but there are only so many hours in a day. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Escapade from Madrid - We loved the tour inside the winery, it was delightful to taste the varieties and see the whole process to achieve both of the wines. Regarding Segovia, it was short and sweet; if you are looking for something brief, this is the tour for you, otherwise we advise you to look for a tour specifically made to visit Segovia. Laura was very kind and attentive during the whole trip, she does have an excellent fluidity between English and Spanish. We’d recommend this tour to couples and friends!

Terrible! - Horrible! Canceled on us at 3:00 am day of. We had to take a train in our own to Segovia and it cost us 2x as much as if we had scheduled in advance. DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!

Cramped, rushed, driving for hours, overpriced lunch. - Do not do this trip. The guide was a lovely woman, and the ONE (not two) winery was also lovely. This trip is 5 and a half hours in a bus with seating for ten year olds. I almost got out of the bus as soon as I sat down, but I figured the ride wouldn't be too long. I was wrong. It's a day on a cramped bus, with a lovely tasting at the winery for an hour, and a walk around Segovia for an hour. We purchased the lunch, which we had to rush to get back to the bus and which was worth less than half of what is charged. In short, get a car, make the lovely drive to ANY winery that is less than 2 and a half hours, drive to Segovia on your own schedule and enjoy your visit. This trip is painful (literally) and rushed. If you are more than 5 feet tall, don't even think about it.

Poorly planned and not as described - The guide was lovely and I have no complaints about her, but this trip was not as represented. From the description: 1. Visit two wineries and taste a variety of wines - We only visited 1 winery. The winery itself was fine and the tour was interesting, but it was much farther from Madrid than I thought it would be (more than 2 hours). I expected it would be on the way to Segovia but we ended up spending half of the day driving. 2. Use free time to see the town of Peñafiel at your own pace - Never happened. 3. Comprehensive tour of Segovia, including its famous aqueduct, cathedral and Alcázar - We did have a walking tour with the guide who was excellent, but it felt incomplete. We didn't get much time at any place, didn't get to go inside the cathedral or Alcázar. I feel like I didn't get to see the town at all. 4. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant or free time - Not much free time, we really had to rush through lunch to meet the guide for the tour. I wish we had been given some recommendations for where to go. The guide just pointed in a direction and said there were many restaurants, and we should just pick one that didn't have a lot of options on the menu as those were more likely to be touristy. As it was we just went to the first restaurant we saw so we could make it to the meeting point in time to meet with the group. Overall, I regret going on this tour. Absolute waste of time and money.
