Embark with us on an intriguing exploration of Madrid’s wine region, where we’ll visit one of the area’s most esteemed traditional wineries. We’ll start from the heart of Madrid, travelling in our private vehicle to Chinchon, a quaint town an hour away that’s famed for its wine culture. Upon our arrival, we’ll be welcomed by a winery manager who will escort us through the property. We will delve into the winery’s past, learn about the various grape types cultivated in this region, and gain insights into the wine production process. We’ll also view the casks where the wines are matured. Naturally, our vineyard excursion would be considered incomplete without a wine tasting session. We’ll get to try a spectrum of wines, from crisp whites to mature reds. We’ll also pick up a few tips on matching wine with food. After savouring these delectable wines, we’ll make our way back to Madrid, enriched with a deep understanding of wine and its historical significance.
