Wonderful day trip to Avila and Segovia - What a great day! Luis was our driver and our very professional team was Rafa, Carlos, and Sara — our group had Sara for our guide and she was terrific: capable, knowledgeable, friendly, and very expressive which made the history easier to understand.
We had thought of getting the bus/train to Segovia on our own, but so glad we did it this way. Everything went smoothly.
The group seemed huge at first but we divided in three. Stopped for coffee/WC/photos just outside of Avila, then toured the city. Before reboarding the bus we had a snack at a restaurant, which included beer/wine/soft drink/iced tea/ water or soda.
The first-century aqueduct in Segovia was probably the most awe-inspiring part.
Highly recommend this tour!

Great way to learn a lot of the history of Spain and see some amazing sites! - Enjoy the views and seeing the sights. Our guide Sara was well versed in her knowledge of the history of Avila and Segovia. Learned a lot!

Beautiful Day in Avila and Segovia - This was a very well-organized tour. Rafael was an amazing and passionate tour guide — we learned so much Spanish history as we toured the beautiful sights in Avila and Segovia. The pace was perfect. Highly recommend!

Excellent Madrid Excersion - The monuments are worth seeing. Avila’s walls are amazing, and the Roman aquaduct, cathedral and castle are icing on the cake. You should definitely book this tour.

Saw and Learned A Lot - We saw lots and learned much. Perhaps just a bit more free time would have been appreciated. Recommended though.

Nice excursion from Madrid - A lot to see for a fair price. It wouldn’t have been as convenient if organized alone.
Sara, the guide was very knowledgeable and passionate.
Probably would have enjoyed more time to free roam but there were small opportunities for this as well at the sacrifice of eating.
Overall I would definitely recommend though.

Beautiful places, lousy audio - Beautiful and wonderful places to visit. However the audio devices were pretty poor quality— frequently going dead. That combined with heavily accented English of some of the guides ( I had 3) caused me to miss a lot of narration. Probably only 10-20 %. But there was convenience of doing this by bus rather than solo by train. The restaurant they take you to for the included snack and drink is very meat- heavy, so ate the snack and left. Also, be prepared to walk 6-7 miles.
