Historical and Cultural - It is a lovely place commemorating a key part of Spanish history and culture. I found the tour really interesting. There is a place where you can take photos and dress like a bullfighter.

Fascinating part of Spanish history and tradition AND the best guide! - Lelia was the tour guide for my daughter and me. She was the best guide and really knew the details of the traditions. I was impressed with her English and would highly recommend visiting and doing the tour.

Eye-opening (in many ways)! - Took 12 US college students (in a class examining Ava Gardner's time in Spain) on a tour with our guide Lelia, and it was fantastic. Lelia was personable, knowledgeable, and answered every one of our questions. Two of the students got to do the virtual bullfight (which was fun to watch); Lelia demonstrated how the matadors manipulate the capes; and the museum was really interesting, too...definitely could've spent more time there. (Nota bene: If at all possible, there should be postcards of some of the portraits of more famous matadors, i.e., Luis Miguel Dominguin; their suits-of-lights; and the artwork available for purchase. Not everyone in our group was a fan of bullfighting (to say the least), but, to her credit, our guide didn't sugarcoat any of it. This for me, their professor, was an important element -- to make sure students from a different culture understood the history and pageantry, etc, but also the reality of the event. A beautiful arena! The architecture alone is worth seeing. We came just with a reservation for the museum visit, but we decided on arrival that we wanted a tour, and they made it happen on the spot. Gracias, Lelia and Las Ventas!

Guided tour of Las Ventas by Andrea - I accompanied a group of 56 students from a college in Normandy and we were guided by Andrea with a mastery. It was super nice, Andrea was able to interest her audience and I highly recommend her. Karine Vassal, Spanish teacher

Palomo I stew it I eat it - We took a group of 48 people and we had Carlos Palomo, I have gone other years but that guide has given us an incredible experience, the way I connect with the group, the wisdom of the bullfighting theme and the grace with which I counted everything... AWESOME!!! I will return more times with more groups and I would like to be the one to give us the talks. Thank you!!!!!
