Drive through the old roads of Madeira
Visit to a private family banana farm and the biggest cooperation of bananas. Fruit and Vegetable farm that supply most of our supermarkets, Rum factory and all its production this includes tasting of rum and honey cake.
Cow farm that provides milk to the making of our famous madeira cheese and a cow farm where our beef cows are found. On our drive back you can stop at the cable car viewpoint.
The lunch is traditional in a traditional restaurant, fresh maderian vegetables and a visit to the village where the tour takes place.
For this tour you must bring comfortable shoes and a jacket for the mountains.

During this trip, you’ll explore an exclusive banana plantation in Funchal, the largest Banana Cooperative using the historical road to another noteworthy local family fruit and vegetable farm that caters the majority of our island’s supermarket chains, a cow farm supplying most of the milk for our renowned “requeijão” cheese, and witness the traditional methods of milking. Take a break for lunch in a conventional restaurant, explore this charming farming village. Tour the rum factory and also visit this attraction, rum tasting and maderian cake sampling included. Interestingly, this factory is the main exporter of honey cake. Post-lunch, you will drive through the bucolic countryside in the North and halt at the cable car viewpoint.
End of the day, we drop you back at your Hotel.
