Amazing Trip - This was by far the best part of our trip! My husband and I were in Peru for 10 days and in order to see all that we wanted to see, could not commit more than 2 days to Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail. We knew that we wanted our first glimpse of Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate so that we could truly experience its grandeur. We also wanted to hike at least a little bit of the Royal Incan Trail. The experience was far better than we could ever imagine!!! The hike was challenging, rewarding and allowed us to see so many breathtaking sights including Winay Wayna, the Sun Gate and also gave us our first visit through Machu Picchu. Juty was our guide as we hiked the trail and she is absolutely amazing! She reached out early to make sure that we had all the details for our trip. We wanted to modify our starting point from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and she was flexible and accommodating, working with our hotel to make sure that we received our train ticket, transfer to the train station, lunches and knew the exact details of what we needed to communicate to the train attendants in order to get off at our stop at KM 104. She also arranged for our luggage to be stored and returned to us in Cusco so that we would only need to carry the necessary items on our trek. Her attention detail and happiness to go above and beyond made our trip absolutely perfect. This attention to detail continued in Aguas Caliente with a wonderful hotel accommodation and delicious prearranged dinner included in the package. Again she provided clear communication for our meeting point the next morning as we continued our guided tour of Machu Picchu with her fiancé, Coco. We loved having a second day to visit Machu Picchu to fully appreciate the details of the kingdoms’ history. Both Coco and Juty were incredibly knowledgeable about the Incan history and provided genuine, in-depth insight into how this history has impacted Peruvian culture. Again, in what we consider to be our best vacation yet, these 2 days were by far the best part of our adventure! After finishing our tour of Machu Picchu, Coco made sure that we had everything that we needed to complete our train and bus rides back to Cusco, and arranged a meeting point in Cusco where he personally delivered all of our additional luggage back to us from Ollantaytambo. Juty and Coco’s customer service are unrivaled! We highly recommend VAMOS Peru to help you enjoy this amazing adventure!!!

Great guide makes a great tour! - Ruti on the tour was very helpful and always in a great mood. I started in Argentina with her and travelled to Igazu Falls, Rio, and then onto Peru. After the tour I stayed on in Cusco, she stayed in touch and helped me by taking me to the train station to book my ticket after sitting with her and her friends watching the football in a local bar. It was an A+ holiday in South America made that little bit easier.
