10:00 am/English | Join us on a knowledgeable walking expedition through the historical neighborhoods of Croix-Rousse and Vieux Lyon, offering an in-depth understanding of Lyon’s cultural and historical background. We commence at Place des Terreaux, where you’ll gaze upon the grand Hôtel de Ville and Museum and the striking Bartholdi Fountain. Next, we explore Croix-Rousse, once the hub of silk workers and a place full of secret corridors, known as the Traboules. Here the talk of silk dominates with incredible city views. From the Roman Amphitheatre, we stroll down to Vieux Lyon, the city’s most renowned neighborhood. We’ll behold the Fresque des Lyonnais, a spectacular wall mural and Rue Juiverie, featuring the splendid Gallerie Philibert Delorme. The journey concludes in the bustling areas of Vieux Lyon, just in time for a hearty lunch!

Amazing hidden Lyon tour! - Paul's tour was amazing! Paul walked us through Lyon's well-known historic neighborhoods, from the Slopes to hidden traboules, reviving us stories about silk workers and other important historic moments. Paul's tour was very interesting, I definitely recommend it!

Great informative visit - We had a great tour with Paul, was informative and interesting. We covered a good section of Lyon’s peninsula and old Lyon. Extra information given by Paul was useful to continue the visit by ourselves.

A Professional Arm Waver! - Paul lead a wonderful tour. He guided us through Lyon with a Masters in cat hearding, a Doctorate in cultural history, and a post-doc in contemporary Leon. We saw a lot, learned a lot, and appreciated his clear voice and tall stature.

Expert guidance in a fun tour - One of the most thorough and interesting tours that I have taken of a city center. Paul was so knowledgeable about the history of Lyon and he really led us through the different neighborhoods to maximize our experience in only two hours. I would highly recommend him as your best starting point of a visit to Lyon.
