Highly recommend this wine tour - Brilliant! We learned so much about wine, the food and the region of Northern Rhone. Our guide Sebastien was super friendly and knowledgeable. A relaxed atmosphere for a small group and some lovely wine discoveries. Definitely recommend.

Olivier was an amazing... - Olivier was an amazing host and very knowledgeable on the wines. He was also skilled at communicating the complexity of wine/winemaking in an easy to understand format. Great staff there!!!

The Rhone region is an absolute must with Olivier at Kanpai Tours - We took two wine tours with two different agencies. Wow , they were not comparable! We highly recommend Kanpai Wine tours and excursions with guide& owner Olivier Delalande. We visited 3 extraordinary wineries, each one brought a different taste to the palette . Each winery was welcoming, very generous with a minimum of 6-9 different wine tasting of both red and whites. Their passion for their craft and products are felt in their explicit description of the processes of making their own unique wines. The wineries that Olivier chose were smaller family ran business dating back centuries. Olivier is an expert of the region, he is very engaged with his clients and has endless knowledge of the craft. He is personable, kind and made us feel at home. We highly recommend Kanpai Tours. You will not be disappointed.Enjoy and don’t forget your cameras as the sceneries of the hillside vineyards are absolutely breathtaking!!!

Great adventure and a great guide - Oliver was our tour guide for this amazing day. He was funny and extremely knowledgeable about the region and wine in general. I was a bit apprehensive about the price but it was worth it. The stops for exploration and pictures were some of the best pictures we took. The vineyard and tasting stops were amazing as well. The wine was great and an excellent introduction to the area. Soooo many different types. I believe we were at 18 total tastings but the end of the day was a little blurry.

Excellent Wine Tour Experience - My wife and I had a great time (2 different days, one tour of Beaujolais and the next day of Rhone). Both days excellent advice and history of all things related to these wine areas. Very neat places to go that you would never find alone, and was a great 2 days experience. If you are interested in experiencing the unique wines of either of these areas, you will have a great experience here.

An Incredible Day in the Northern Rhone - We highly recommend this excellent tour of the Northern Rhone. We received an incredible education from Olivier on both the history and the wines of the Northern Rhone during this well crafter and comfortable day. Olivier picked us up from our hotel in Lyon, and transported us throughout the day in his clean and comfortable van. We visited three wineries in three distinct AOCs, and stopped for a lovely local lunch as well. This is an excellent experience for anyone who finds themselves in Lyon or the surrounding area.

It couldn't be better - I've been on wine tours in a number of regions in France, Italy and the US. This was one of the best. Olivier, the guide, is a trained wine specialist, who knows his wine, and the small winemakers who are passionate about their product. Trip is appropriate for any level person interested in wine. Conducted in English or French--and maybe other languages. Just ask.

Wonderful tour of the vinyards and valley - Even in the middle of winter it was great to visit the vineyards and of course sample the produce! A lovely tour with a friendly guide. Olivier was informative and fun. Also only six of us, which suited me and my partner very well.
