A journey through Cote Rotie - Wineries were both great, first one large and professional , second rustic and homely, loved the wines.

History and Wine combined....doesn't get any better! - We were blessed to have only 6 guests on this tour, led by the very informative and personal driver and guide Vlad. The bonus for us was the stop in the historical town of Vienne with its stunning panoramic vistas of Cote Rotie coupled with the amazing Roman ruins. Vlad's detailed narrative enlightened our knowledge of this beautiful area. We had a nice break of tasty cheeses and meats, accompanied by a red wine of course! Off to a remote family run winery, we enjoyed the "fruits of the vineyard", sharing not only red but white wine grape as well. Well worth the half day, enjoyed it all immensely.

A well organized and informative Vienne Wine Tour - Credit goes to the tour leader and skilled driver Grace. Well worth if you have an interest in wines. Well recommended.

Another terrific tour organized by... - <p>Another terrific tour organized by Viator. Our driver/guide was so helpful and knew his subject perfectly. The air conditioned van was very welcome on what was a very hot day. Our guide provided wine and rolls on our first stop where he explained the region and the grapes of the region. The winemaker at our second stop very graciously showed us his vineyard and explained the mechanical aspects of wine making. I highly recommend this tour and also Viator.</p>

Really informative and well... - <p>Really informative and well constructed tour - starting with a brief introduction to wine tasting and the region given by the guide and a walk around a very picturesque hill top village, then down to the Cote Rotie to a vineyard and a fascinating talk with the vigneron, who answered all questions fully, and a tasting of his wines. Excellent five wines of different kinds - ended up persuaded to buy a mixed case for which he arranged transport back to the UK.</p>

The guide was wonderful, the scenery... - <p>The guide was wonderful, the scenery amazing - I would have spent a little more time in the tasting room to really dissect the wines, but overall a wonderful tour and experience.</p>

Rude host at winery - The guide was nice and knowledgeable. The host at the winery was rude. He drive am full glasses of wine while he barely poured a sip for us to taste . I have been to other wineries in France and all over the world and I have never seen this before. I speak French but he completely ignored the English speakers in our group. He also had nothing useful to say. He was simply the worst host I ever had
