After a brief walk, participants will board an 8-seater minivan to commence the excursion.
• Châtillon - d’Azergues - Begin the morning by exploring Beaujolais, renowned as France’s most picturesque wine region, and uncover the hidden charm of the Golden Stones Country. Pause in the town of Châtillon d’Azergues to admire the 13th-century castles encircled by their rampart walls.
• Oingt - Continue through several medieval towns constructed with ochre-colored stones, including Chessy Les Mines and Bagnols. Visit the charming village of Oingt, recognized among the 157 most beautiful towns in France. Stroll along the main street, visit Saint Mathieu Church, and enjoy panoramic views of breathtaking landscapes with rolling hills and vineyards.

• Theize - For lunch, savor a delightful meal at a typical Beaujolais “bistrot” restaurant offering regional cuisine. The guide will gladly translate and explain the different courses! Menus start from €20 per person, not included.
• Perouges - In the afternoon, after a 45-minute drive, explore the medieval town of Pérouges, a “must-see” attraction that transports you back to medieval times! Wander along cobblestone streets and admire the architecture of ancient houses from the 13th to the 16th century.
