Your journey continues over Maggie Beer’s farmstead and the renowned Penfold’s Winery, then curving around the eastern corner of Nuriootpa, passing the Wolf Blass winery, and taking in the vast limestone quarry close to Angaston. Further ahead, you’ll enjoy a bird’s eye perspective of one of south Australia’s most picturesque horse racing studs.
During your descent into the Tanunda valley, your pilot will highlight significant structures and communities, such as the Chateau Tanunda and Bethany.

A wonderful birthday present for my mum - My mum recently turned 90. She didn’t want presents but as she’d always wanted to go up in a helicopter, we decided to contact Barossa Helicopters & organise a 30 minute flight. The staff were so helpful & considerate. The flight was amazing. The look of joy & wonder on mum’s face when we landed was priceless. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who’s considering a helicopter flight over the stunning Barossa Valley

Memorable experience! - Perfect flight for Dad's 80th Birthday and his first helicopter experience. Nick, our pilot shared his knowledge of the Barossa and surrounding area and super special was flying over Dad's house in Nuriootpa. View was amazing and a beautiful time of year to see the Barossa from the air. Noted a few extra wineries to visit afterwards. Thank you Barossa Helicopters for creating a special memory for Dad, my brother & me!

A great way to see the region - This was an amazing way to see the region and a really worthwhile experience. I was pretty scared but the flight was enjoyable and I felt safe. Our pilot gave a great tour of the region and pointed out various landmarks and locations, he also answered our questions well. I’d highly recommend this experience and am really glad we went for the longer but time so we could see as much as possible

From Helipad to the Heavens - The helicopter flight was for my wife's 70th Birthday. Safey-Safety-Safety! This thrilling 30-minute helicopter flight whisks you up from the helipad on a rural property, nestled in the Hoffnungsthal Valley. Through the State-of-the-art Robinson R44 Helicopter's windows, we gained a remarkable panoramic view of the Barossa Valley from the flying height of approximately 300m (1,000ft). We experienced a number of 'Gilt-edge' wineries all without moving our feet or getting our lips wet, enroute to the Whispering Wall at Williamstown. This is the perfect scenic tour for those who want to see the vastness of the Barossa Valley, wineries, and topograhy of the valley floor with lush green vineyards, in a limited amount of time and narrated by the pilot to boot. From the time we moved away from reception area to boarding the helicopter, then disembarking flowing the flight, client safety was paramount. Thank you Barossa Valley Helicopter Flights for a most memorable safe event.

Our weather was absolutely perfect. Our pilot, Peter (aka Goose) was able to impart vast knowledge regarding every aspect of the Valley. Very educational yet entertaining. Highly recommended!!
