Trip to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple - A visit to the Valley of the Kings is always... A visit to the Valley of the Kings is always worthwhile and was very informative and entertaining thanks to our tour guide Moustafa Elkoprosy. The Valley of the Queens is unfortunately only slightly developed, which is very unfortunate. Perhaps also because the tombs here can mostly only be reached via vertical shafts. Unfortunately, as in the Valley of the Kings, you have to pay separately for access to the "highlights". Yes, that's acceptable, but 2000.00 LE (Egyptian pounds) per person extra to visit the tomb of Nefereti (wife of Ramses III) goes beyond the bounds of good manners and decency. For comparison, admission to the Valley of the Queens costs 180.00 LE. Is there a comma slipped? Without this tomb, the tour is not very interesting either, there is not much to see, just traders who often harass you. Conclusion: Please make sure that the tickets are included when booking, I had overlooked this and then paid again at each counter.
