Valley of the Kings - After an early breakfast on board, begin your tour with the Egyptologist guide to the West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings. Dive into the tombs of the kings, situated over 1,000 feet of limestone and other sedimentary rock forming the valley’s cliffs.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only female ruler who governed Egypt for 20 years with wealth and peace. Return to the cruise to start sailing to Edfu via Esna. Enjoy lunch on board, relax on the sundeck, and later, savor dinner.

Edfu, Kom Ombo

Temple of Horus - Stop at the city of Edfu. After an early breakfast, tour the Temple of Horus. The city was known in the Hellenistic period, and the temple’s inscribed building texts provide details of its construction and mythical interpretation as the Island of Creation.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Return to the cruise and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Enjoy lunch and tea time on board. Visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, with its ‘double’ design featuring duplicated courts, halls, sanctuaries, and rooms for two sets of gods. The southern half is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and creator of the world. Return to the cruise for dinner and relaxation.

Aswan (High Dam, Philae Temple, & the Unfinished Obelisk)

Aswan High Dam - After an early breakfast, start your tour with the High Dam in Aswan, an embankment dam built across the Nile between 1960 and 1970. Its significance eclipsed the previous Aswan Low Dam, completed in 1902. Following the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, constructing the High Dam became a key government objective.

Temple of Philae - Visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat. Originally located near the First Cataract of the Nile in Upper Egypt, the temple complex was moved to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project due to flooding from the Aswan Low Dam.

Unfinished Obelisk - Finally, visit the Unfinished Obelisk to explore its massive pillars. Return to the cruise ship for lunch, enjoy afternoon tea, and later, dinner on board.
