Highlights
  • Temple of Medinat Habu - At 7:00 am Pickup from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by Licensed Tour guide then you will be transferred by Private A/C Vehicle to the West Bank of the Nile where you will visit Medinat Habu, it is an archaeological locality situated near the foot of the Theban Hills on the West Bank of the River Nile opposite the modern city of Luxor, Egypt.

Although other structures are located within the area, the location is today associated almost exclusively with the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III The temple, some 150m long, is of orthodox design, and resembles closely the mortuary temple of Ramesses II (the Ramesseum).

Also you will be able to visit some other temples inside Habu Temple Such as Temple of Amun dating to the 18th Dynasty, built by Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. It has undergone many alterations and modifications over the years, partially in the 20th, 25th, 26th, 29th and 30th Dynasties and the Greco-Roman period.

  • Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) - Then Continue your day Tour to Deir el Medina, known as The Valley of the worker, Deir el-Medina is an ancient Egyptian village which was home to the artisans who worked on the tombs in the Valley of the Kings during the 18th to 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom period (ca. 1550–1080 BC) The paintings appear so fresh.

  • Valley of the Queens - End your day Tour with a visit to Valley of the Queens it’s is a place where wives of Pharaohs were buried in ancient times. In ancient times, it was known as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning –“the place of the Children of the Pharaoh”, because along with the Queens of the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties (1550–1070 BCE) many princes and princesses were also buried with various members of the nobility.

The tombs of these individuals were maintained by mortuary priests who performed daily rituals and provided offerings and prayers for the deceased nobility. The valley is located near the better known Valley of the Kings, on the west bank of the Nile across from Thebes (modernLuxor). This barren area in the western hills was chosen due to its relative isolation and proximity to the capital.

The kings of the 18th dynasty, instead of building pyramids as traditional burial chambers (perhaps because of their vulnerability to tomb robbers),

Don’t miss this - Our guide Soosan was great, Valley of the Queens is very quiet since the Tomb of Nefertari was closed for renovation, but well worth a visit anyway. Habu Temple is a hidden gem, not as popular as the temples of Luxor or Karnak, but in some ways better than both. Valley of the Artisans was very good too Private visit

Amazing Tour Guide Ahd! - We really lucked out getting this tour guide, he was so passionate about Egyptian history. It was such a good experience getting the private tour with him, it is completely worth it. You can go at your own pace and ask questions freely without feeling like you are being rushed, he was so patient and the way he answered our questions was very enlightening. This guide is very educated and especially gifted in tying in the symbolism of the various Egyptian gods / goddesses which provided me to have a deeper perspective and impression of what Egypt was like. He was a great storyteller, and you felt transported into the past of Egyptian times. I highly recommend this guy! Ahd WhatsApp number +20 103 228 0096 Operations department

Best experience in Egypt! - The best tour guide I had in all Egypt! The pickup was right on time, the guide had a really good English and understood a lot about the places we visited. She explained really well all the details that we could observe in the temples. Concerning the site, the valley of the artisans was a total surprise! Worth a visit.

Excellent! - Our guide, Sam, was excellent! He could read the hieroglyphs like I read English, and his knowledge of the locations was superb. We were given plenty of time to explore each tomb/temple and were shown some absolute treats - my favourite was the tomb of the artisan who decorated his own resting place beautifully! Sam ensured we missed the crowds and still got us back to the hotel in time for lunch! Thank you!

Amazing architecture! - Learned so much. Temples were absolutely amazing. Went to valley of the Queens and didn’t see Queen Nefertiti tomb because it was an additional $45! Please note that this tomb is not included in the ticket price.

Great Half Day Tour! - Great half day tour to Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Workers, and Habu Temple! Queen Nefertari’s tomb is a must! And Habu Temple is such a wonder to experience - the artwork and colors are still so well preserved. Our guide Ahmed Omar was wonderful - so full of knowledge, had answers to all of our questions, and was such a pleasure to be with that we requested him as our guide for our other tours booked with Emo Tours!

It would have been nice to understand a bit more - The Habu Temple is magnificient! It was unfortunate that the guide wasn't explaining history very clearly. When asked a question he would answer with a joke, or with a "come on!" as if we should have known already the answer, or just not listening at all to the question, especially when coming from a woman. At the valley of queens, the guide is not allowed in, so no explanations about the drawings in it. While at the valley of artisans same story, but you're accompanied down in the tombs by a local person that will pretend tips for pointing random names on the walls and ceilings, with no explanation
