Malkata House Lunch - I was really keen to have a full day tour on the west bank and looked for an authentic Egyptian meal in a nice location. Malkata House is just a couple of minute from Medinet Habu , my favourite site in the West bank, and was a welcome relief after an exhausting morning seeing so many tombs. The restaurant has a lovely shaded roof top terrace over looking the mountains with a cooling breeze. Lunch was delightful and the food delicious. The loos were good too !! A great lunch stop, definitely recommended

Best food in Egypt! - Very smooth logistics to pick us up from the east bank. The restaurant is beautiful, we timed it for sunset. The hospitality was perfect and the food was incredible! We are vegan and the chef nailed every part of it. We’ve raved about it since. Highly recommend.

Amazing lunch - The food and the chef was amazing, they look after yourself very well, even if you have some request like gluten free. Staff very kind and nice and we couldn’t ask for a better service

Home Style Food! - The experience was fine. We had a home cooked meal. We would have preferred to choose a protein (I.e. chicken, fish, beef) but were just served chicken right away. Chicken was great though! It’s a bit on the pricier side compared to other meals we’ve had in Egypt which also felt authentic. The chef was great and the whole experience did feel very casual and down to earth which was nice.
