We chose this tour as... - We chose this tour as travelling with a toddler and a baby, it does say suitable for strollers. Our host marc, was very passionate about ensuring the tour met expectations and coordinated with us early to check we would be ok without the stroller. The route is about 3km of vineyard routes with steps and some tree roots, so D to def not stroller friendly. We decided to go ahead with the baby carrier and the toddler riding on shoulders when he needed to, and it was perfect with lots of stops for stories and information along the way. We had a lovely afternoon, learning about the variety of Swiss wines, and our toddler loved seeing the many trains passing through the area. Thank you marc for a wonderful afternoon. 10/10

Fabulous! - We enjoyed a wonderful day with Marc. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and just fun to be with. He provided perfect instructions of how to meet him at the Cully train station from our hotel in Lausanne. The tour was a pleasant and leisurely walk through the historic and hilly roads of the vineyards and towns. I agree with his description that moderate fitness is required. We visited Domaine Blaise Dubois in Epesses, and had a special visit and tasting experience with Blaise himself. We then went to a delicious lunch at Auberge du Vigneron, where Marc recommended excellent wines and concluded the day at Terres de Lavaux in Lutry. They have a terrific tasting room with beautiful atmosphere and views. The experience exceeded my expectations and I’m glad to have learned so much about this special place.

Excellent tour of the Lavaux vineyards - We knew very little about Swiss wines before our tour with the very personable Marc. He gave us an excellent walking tour of the beautiful Lavaux vineyards starting near Lutry. He's an expert in Swiss wines, so we learned a lot, and we enjoyed the stories he told us about the area's history and the wines. We stopped at two excellent wineries for tastings, along the way, with plenty of delicious meats and cheeses at the second stop, to complement the wines. We appreciated the advice he gave us regarding touring Lutry before we met up with him, as well as his flexibility in meeting place. He also gave us excellent advice on places to eat in the area as we toured different places, and even for the second part of trip in Beaune, France. We highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic day of wine, food and friends. - We had a fantastic time with Marc on the wine and walk tour! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the Lavaux area. If you love wine and a bit of local history this is the tour for you. We sampled several local wines and met with vineyard owner Blaise Duboux. He was so knowledgeable about wine and the local area. We had a four star lunch at a local restaurant and that wasn't even the end of the day. We capped it off at a final wine tasting in Lutry. Marc was a gracious and patient host. He really gave us a feel for the area and the people. By the end of the day we felt like we made a lifelong friend! If you book one tour on your trip to the Lausanne area this is the one! Cheers!

Unesco World Heritage Site + Guided Walking Tour + Swiss Quality Wines - We had the most incredible experience on this walking wine tour in Lavaux with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Marc, our guide. The quality of the wines we tasted was surprisingly good, given that past experiences with Swiss wines didn't always hit the mark. One of my personal highlights was visiting a wine estate where the winemaker infuses his wine with jazz music, creating a unique and unforgettable tasting experience. The vibrations from the music seemed to enhance the flavors of the wine, making for a one-of-a-kind visit. This walking tour with Marc in the World Heritage Site is definitely not to be missed when in Switzerland. Five stars for excellence!

Delightful Vineyard Walk - From the moment we set foot on the picturesque vineyard grounds, we knew we were in for a treat. Our guide, Marc, was a font of knowledge and passion for all things wine-related. His anecdotes about the region's winemaking history and Swiss viticulture added depth and context to our experience. We were treated to an array of interesting wines, from crisp whites to robust reds. Marc's expertise truly shone as he guided us through the tasting notes, helping us appreciate the nuances of each pour. The wine walk also offered stunning views of the Swiss countryside in an idyllic setting. No hiking experience is required.

Memorable wine making tour - I’ve been to a few wine tours, but this is by far the most interesting and memorable. Marc is truly knowledgeable about the history of wine making in Lutry, and obviously passionate with what he does. He also paid special attention to details, e.g walking gear and food allergies. The vineyard we visited has a very unique way of storing wines (no spoilers), and we even have an expected performance at the cellar! Our tour was around 3 hrs with a stop for some tasting and bites. If you are in Geneva or Lausanne, this tour will be the highlight of your trip.

Amazing guided tour of Lavaux!! - We had the most amazing experience touring Lavaux with Marc! He was an extraordinary tour guide - both extremely knowledgeable and also super personable and fun to be with. We had a blast getting to know Lavaux with Marc and his storytelling and intimate knowledge of the area kept us engaged throughout our time together. We've done a lot of wine tours of different areas and Marc was by far the best guide we've had. Plus he's a great guy and gave us tons of recommendations for the next leg of our trip in Zurich and places in NYC to visit to continue to experience Swiss wines.
