After a few hours having fun at the rainforest you will be taken to the famous and most visited beach and restaurant area Luquillo!
- Las Paylas - After your visit to Rainforest continue to Luquillo Beach, a sandy spot that’s well-known among locals. Enjoy free time to sunbathe, swim, and relax at this picturesque location before heading back to San Juan to get dropped off at your hotel.
You will be able to enjoy a natural water pool along with a waterslide in the rainforest. This is not a hiking tour.

- Pick up times begin at 10am; please note there are several locations and times will vary depending on where you are staying.
- Round-trip Transportation; Travel time is 1+ hour each way
- You will get wet and muddy, please bring steady closed toe shoes for the hike
- Bring extra clothing, swimwear, towel
- A proper safety briefing will be given to participate in the water slide activity. It is imperative all guests cooperate and follow all given instructions to avoid injury or a dangerous situation. Please note this is a rainforest with a very rocky terrain. This is an extreme adventure.
- Maximum weight to participate in the waterslide is 240lbs. All other participants may complete the activity at their own risk.

Best time ever for Hike and Beach. 2 in One : Perfect combo - Jose our tour guide was amazing! He was attentive, funny and kind. The experience at beach ⛱️ was great and the El Younye hike 🚶♀️ was just the right amount of adventure. And the price, you can't beat this. I totally recommend 👌

Breathtaking - The rainforest was beautiful!!! We climbed up the rocks, swam down the river. We went on the natural waterslide. Everyone had an amazing time. I would highly recommend going, if you’re a walker and a swimmer😊.

Just enough adventure!! - The waterfall slide along with the jump off the rocks was epic! Our tour guide, Vincent, was knowledgeable and spoke clear English. We felt safe and excited at the same time. He was very clear on how much fun we were going to have and he KNEW exactly the photos we wanted!!

WEPA! - From the beginning to the end was a once in a lifetime experience! Our host Vincent was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Our tour group had five people in it which I couldn’t imagine the other tours that had 20 to 30. That would not have been fun. I would not recommend going to the forest without a guide Vincent directed us on every step to take and although we had to wear lifejackets, I believe they are needed. The rocks are dangerous and you have to watch where you are stepping, and he knew every step. Although the hike is not a long hike, it is still considered a hike to me definitely where hiking shoes and dress comfortably . The waterslides were amazing and the flora surrounding I would recommend a smaller tour after the rain forest going to Luquillo beach was just the perfect ending. I would not recommend this to anyone who is unable to hike up and down hills, and that does not have steady footing. overall 10 out of 10 with Vincent.

Such a beauty - The waterfall view was breathtaking. I met so many amazing people. It was a challenge for me getting back from the waterfall. I honestly didn't think I would have made it back if it wasn't for the amazing tour guides and the strangers that helped me out. This was all worth it in the end.

A bit disappointed - Our guide Vinny was great but we never took a stroll through the rainforest. We went directly to the natural water slide and spent all of the time there. We then went to the beach where we could purchase drinks and food but not along the way.

Not adult fun- family type tour - I had taken this tour before with a different guide who happened to be a lot more fun. Previous tour guide played music to pump you up, allowed drinks in the bus and made several stops to allow us to take pictures. This time the driver was late picking us up, did not play any music, spent the entire trip narrating as if we were in a museum type excursion. Forced us to wear life jackets even though we know how to swim. He did not allow alcoholic drinks on the bus. Overall this felt like a family with kids type of tour. I paid for an adults, drinks, music and fun type of tour and that is not what we got. Boring and disappointing.

Rock climbing not rainforest hiking - On this tour you will hike for 5 minutes to get to the treacherous water slide. If you’re 50+ you won’t want to go injure yourself. After watching others for an hour whilst standing on the rocks, you get invited to descend to a less treacherous water pool, unfortunately it involves navigating boulders on a steep descent. I’m not suggesting anyone over 50 can’t do it, if you’re into rock climbing you will be fine. 6 of us oldies didn’t go, therefore our rainforest walk was 5 mins down and back…second part of the tour is 2 hours at the beach. There’s a nicer beach walking distance in Old San Juan, you choose as the bus takes at least an hour to get you home. For those who took advantage of the waters, I’m happy, for us it was a bit of a wasted day.
