Your dreams of surfing can now become reality at La Pared Beach in Luquillo, Puerto Rico’s favored spot for beginner surfers. Situated on the accessible east coast, your guide will be none other than Brian Ramos, a former National Surf Champion. Filled with plenty of fun, this lesson equips you with all necessary knowledge to confidently catch a wave and leave you eager for more!

Participants have a buffer of 30 minutes check-in prior to official start time at Surfing Puerto Rico . We are located near the roundabout at La Pared Beach. You will meet your instructor in the sand by the Surfboards!

A great introduction to surfing! - I booked the lesson for my 2 kids who had a blast surfing in the morning sun! The instructor was very thorough and fun. Recommend 100 percent!

Best surfing lessons ever!! - This was such a fun experience! The instructors are very knowledgeable of surfing and how to read the water. I signed up for my daughter up every vacation for surf lessons and this was by far the very best! They were patient and explained what she needed to do. They also made sure I understood what was going on. We highly recommend this activity!

Super fun experience for first-timers! - We had a great time and everyone in our group of 10 stood up! The three instructors were amazing…helping us with technique, moving through water and taking photos for us. We had less than ideal surf conditions, so we were learning where the waves broke on the beach, but the coaches still helped us make the most of it. We had two adults and two kids and we all loved it. Show up well hydrated and unscreened up!

Favorite experience of our family vacation! - This was an amazing experience! We did this as a family of 4 with two teenage boys. One of our favorite activities of our vacation. Sebastian was a great instructor and worked with all of us to get us up on our boards - even us 50 year olds! :-). I recommend this to anyone in the area!

Best part of teens week in PR! - My daughter (13) had one private and one group lesson, each with a different instructor (Angel and Sebastian). Both instructors were great! They were very encouraging of her. The lessons were the highlight of her week
in PR.
Only wish wish would be more communication on meeting place beforehand. Others that came for lesson and rentals were also confused. But, we called the number and quickly figured out location (car in circle with sandwich board sign).

Definitely recommend - I had never surfed before and Kali’s instructions and advice got me on the board and catching wave after wave on this beautiful beach in Luquillo. Definitely recommend!

The Perfect Surfing Experience for Beginners! - I got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and it was perfect!! The instructors (Cali and Sebastian) were so friendly and thorough. We had an incredible afternoon surfing in the sun! I tend to get a little nervous in the water, but I felt safe and secure with the instructors. My boyfriend and I shared a board and we alternated turns. The instructors had us walk the board into the white water, then hop on. They lined us up with waves allowing us to practice popping up. I stood several times! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to surf in Puerto Rico!

Book this! - My husband and I booked this group lesson and ended up being the only people in the lesson. The instructor was so patient, knowledgeable, and had such a positive and encouraging attitude. Highly recommend!

Amazing surfing in Luquillo - Such a great surfing experience! This was my second ever lesson and was so much fun! Kali was our guide who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and professional. She even helped some people who were about to get into a rip current (luckily this was far away from where we were surfing). The beach was gorgeous and water clear blue and waves were consistently coming and great for someone who is still learning. Instructions were broken down so that we knew what we were doing no problem, and could even try some tricks. We were given Snacks and water. Do not be put off by the lack of board leash- it was actually completely appropriate in this setting as the boards always tended toward shore. Highly recommend this tour
