Grand Pearl Dinner Cruise - We had avery good time on our cruise. The food was pretty good, the entertainment was fine. But is is the view up and down the river that is the key of the experience.
The only reason it is not a 5 star experience is the poor organization on thr dock, and the lack of signs to show which group is being boarded at the time.

Miniature Cruise - The pros: Our tour guide was on time, very professional, and polite. The boat ride was another great way to see Bangkok. The food was good also.
The cons: It was very unorganized how we loaded the boat because two groups were waiting on two different boats “Wonderful Pearl” and the “Grand Pearl.” We were all waiting in one big group, so when it was time to load the “Wonderful Pearl” everyone herded towards the ramp ( most us unaware that there were two different boats). It would have been great if they would have had us stand in two separate groups. This way one group could start loading their boat while the other group stand off to the side. In addition this was not much of a romantic tour with children running around.
All in all, this was a great experience! We had 4 other tours, so we ranked this tour at #4.

Grand Pearl Cruise - Good pleasure view while seated on external deck onboard the cruise, though faced wiith strong winds blowing into us, not just the table food. Heads-up to the live on board duo singers who entertained with non-stop songs and seriously think they could take a break interval in between. Food served was adequate and reasonably tasty if not the best. Overall, it was enjoyable ride though it returned to dock past 10.30pm (slightly more than 2 hours' cruising).

Will be more careful in making my next booking for such cruises in Bangkok. - We felt we were over charged for the cruise as it was not worth the price we paid for.
USD330 for 2 adults and a child 5(yo). With transfers to and from hotel.

Very bad service, as well as poor management of the reservations. - I booked a cruise for August/23, on May/23, on the "Wonderful Pearl", Last week on 25/07/23, I was informed that the ship is under maintenance, it seems that they knew it almost at the same time that I made the reservation!!! (but they didn't tell me).
Their solution was that we could change the date (impossible because we are on a tour), or that they could offer us a change to the cheaper "Grand Pearl Cruise", and that the difference in money is left for us to spend on drinks (?).
As an option they offered me my money back through a wire transfer. Money I haven't seen yet. Their answer is that transfers takes some time.
Very bad service, as well as poor management of the reservations.

Dissapointing - Very poor excursion. Food was not good and there were long queues at the buffet. Service for drinks was very poor and we waited for ages. Did not get to see many historic sites, the cruise only passes two. Would not recommend as expensive for what you get.

disappointment - To whom this may concern,
My wife and I was offered a ”Grand Pearl” – Luxury Dinner cruise experience in Bangkok with transfer to and from the cruise. We paid 8650 Thai bath (4325 per person) which is a pretty hefty amount but we figured that the cruise experience would be worth the money.
Imagine our disappointment when we stepped onto the cruise and got placed on the bottom deck with no view and nothing included – nothing luxury yet. We thought we would give it some time and let the crew and the experience get the benefit of the doubt.
Dinner came and…. we will say that “luxury” might as well have been left out of the cruise title.
We thought that we had just been unlucky with this cruise and that we had maybe paid a bit too much for the experience and gotten disappointed just like everyone else must have felt – until we saw the top deck of the ship. The guests up there sat enjoying a lovely candlelit night with a great view of Bangkok by night. Why couldn’t we have gotten that, we thought? We would have paid extra for that!
We got to talking with another guest who was also placed on the bottom deck who told us he had paid 1750 Thai bath for his ticket which is less than half of what we’ve paid for our tickets!?
How is any of this okay? The price might have been okay for an experience on the top deck but it wouldn’t surprise me if we talked to some of those guests and they had paid less than us as well. It’s a sham and it’s unacceptable!
I would like to hear a damn good explanation for this and we expect a refund for the amount that we’ve overpaid to stay on the bottom deck with NO experience or view at all!
