- Lumbisi - Paragliding flights in the Ecuadorian Sierra is a thermal flight that takes place moving through the skies taking advantage of the wind that hits the hill and the ascending air currents that are generated by the heat of the sun or radiation called thermal.
We take off from the hill of Lumbisi towards the City, we observe the landscape of the city of Quito you can see the mountains. We land on the hillside bellow the takeoff.
From the meeting point we climbed in a vehicle to the mountain.
The guide takes care of the whole operation, you just have to enjoy and fulfill your dream of flying. The flight experience lasts between 12-15 minutes.

BEST PARAGLIDING, Quito, Ecuador - Excellent Paragliding Family Activity. Two years ago I came with my kids and my sister and we were so happy. This year I went to Quito again and I called them again “PARAVOLAR ESCUELA DE PARAPENTE”. I was so happy to try again. Service and Safety was their priority. Pilots have a lot experience, also they are very friendly and take they take the time to explain step by step with out rush.

I had contacted Viator... - I had contacted Viator the day before the trip to confirm the meeting point, as the only description given was the city and zip code and the representative told me to meet at two streets in the middle of nowhere. The contact information for the trip operator was also incorrect and when I spoke to them, they had no idea what I was talking about. As I really wanted to participate in this event, I decided to go to the meeting point. The day of the event I drove 30 min to the location and no one was there. I contacted Viator again and they alerted me that the company was no longer operating. Terrible experience.
