Embark on a picturesque Walking Tour with us as we explore celebrated landmarks like the Chapel Bridge along with the Water Tower. Take in the stunning vistas of the river and Lake Lucerne as you stroll. You’ll gain both insightful and amusing knowledge about Lucerne’s history and the day-to-day activities of its inhabitants during the tour. You’ll venture into covert lanes, explore city squares, and even view city’s ‘jewel,’ the ancient city wall. Optional tour extensions offer you a choice to either visit the Glacier Garden on a self-guided tour or engage in the Swiss Chocolate Adventure at the Transport Museum, which includes an audio guide available in multiple languages and a basic chocolate tasting session. Your guide will furnish all the necessary details and tickets for the tour extensions. We kick off with the walking tour followed by the extension to either the chocolate or Glacier museum.

Great introduction to Lucerne - It was a very good overview of Lucerne and the history of the area on our first day here. Sanna was excellent and helpful.

Do not miss this! - We had the best guided tour on Saturday, September 30! It was two hours long and just packed full of wonderful tidbits and historical information as well as amusing anecdotes, and just a well thought out and timed walking tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, sincere, down to earth, and had wonderful presentation skills! This was actually one of our highlights in Lucerne! I recommend it for everyone!

Fascinating tour - all Lucerne highlights - Isabella was great. Really knew her stuff and explained a lot of the history behind Lucerne. She hit on all the highlights, from Chapel Bridge, to the Lion monument, to the centuries-old wall and towers around the city. Her tour was a great introduction to Lucerne!

Great tour of Lucerne - We had a wonderful walking tour with Valentina. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the history, architecture, food and culture of Lucerne. She gave us lots of tips on restaurants. We also got some chocolate as a treat. Highly recommend

Wonderful tour of Lucerne! - We had a wonderful tour walking with Luis! He is such a nice guy and so insightful! We thoroughly recommend taking this tour. We are a family of four(ages 23-58). I loved when he showed us pictures on his iPad. It helped with the history presentation of Lucerne. Very pleased with tour of the old town! Thank you Luis!

Excellent walking tour - Really good tour- very detailed talks and researched background info and thought provoking too!
The tour guide, Louis, was very friendly and responded to all our questions and needs. He was very thoughtful too.
We want to go back to Lucerne to explore more of it in the future.

Time was changed last minute, tour was excellent - We booked for a 9am tour. The night before this tour, we got a message saying the guide for the 9am had something come up, so we would now be touring at 11:10am instead. This completely changed our plans for the rest of the day, so it was pretty frustrating. I was glad I didn’t pay to book something in the afternoon or have to catch a train, etc.
However, our tour guide Luis was great! We really enjoyed all of the history and culture we learned about from him, and the places he took us. He had a lot of recommendations for places to eat and drink around the city.

Don’t book last minute, they no showed. - Booked in the morning. Took the train down to Zurich. Guide no showed. Texted them, they responded with “it was a last minute booking, we can’t make it”. Now have to figure out how to get a refund. Why let me book it, if it isn’t available.
