Fantastic trip with great views! - Had a wonderful trip with amazing views. Our guide, Kid, was entertaining and interactive, making sure we had all the information we need for a successful day. We appreciated the format which gave us free time and independence with parameters on where to be and when. It was a great trip and we would highly recommend it!

Great trip to views of the Jungfrau!! - The views of the Jungfrau, Eiger, and Monch were spectacular! Kid was fun and engaging. The bus trip was easy to find and well coordinated. We loved it! We would recommend it to those wanting an organized yet independent trip up the mountain.

Excellent tour - It snowed, so we didn’t get a mountain panorama. However, the gondola ride down to Grindewald was fantastic. Our tour guide, Raymond was excellent.

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE - This is truly worth the money! Our guide was Kid, bus driver was Richard - both were fantastic. Kid was very informative and spent a lot of time taking photos of the tour participants. The weather was perfect when we were there, the ice palace was a hit! Plenty to do outside in the snow. Food is expensive. The scenery on the bus and train is breathtaking.

Going up to Kleine Scheidegg is amazing! - This trip has amazing views . Many trips in Switzerland just go to Interlaken and Grindlewald . We have heard that Lauterbrunnen and Wengen are amazingly beautiful and this trip didn’t disappoint . This was the only trip that I found that goes to those places . When you board the bus for this tour , there are 3 different tours on this bus: those just going to Grindlewald and Interlaken for the day , those going thru Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg , or those going to the Top of Europe. The tour guide, Kid( that is his name) talks very fast and is abrupt. He has to go through the bus and talk with each group to give them instructions on what to do for their tour so he has quite a lot to do. We didn’t have a good feeling about this tour getting on the bus,( he’s having to order people around to tell them where to sit) but after we started out , we found him kinda funny . This was a double decker bus anf my elderly mom could not go upstairs and he hit that and made sure we had a seat below . That all being said , going to Lauterbrunnen and Wengen , though only quick train stops , make for the most gorgeous views, and I thought the trip was totally worth it .

Amazing! - The most beautiful scenery you can imagine! You are left to fend for yourself on the second part of the tour and picked up later. Sign up for the dinner if you want to stay with the group.

Disappointing Trip - Thursday, April 28, 2022, 4 of us were booked on the Eiger and Jungfrau Panorama Day trip from Lucerne. Booking reference BR-852432478, Tour operator: Hans Meier. Our “tour guide” was Kid. From the very beginning, we had a difficult time understanding him as he spoke very rapidly. Unbeknownst to us, from the description on the web-site,when we booked this trip, we did not realize that after we got off the bus, it would be a self-guided tour. The majority of the people on the bus were continuing the tour as a guided tour. Kid came to where our group was seated on the bus and proceeded to rapidly explain and position the map of the train route to ONE member of our group. When I asked him to show it to me as well, he handed me a map and AGAIN only explained the route and stops to one member, while the rest of us could not see or understand what he was saying. After an hour or so, he returned to our group to inform us that the train would not be stopping at the 4 villages we had anticipated, due to a “problem” that was not explained to us. Instead, we were only passing 2 stops that were strictly for skiers, with no villages to walk around, and ending in Kleine Scheidegg. While we understood that the train situation was not the fault of VIATOR, we expressed our disappointment and asked if we could be included with the other group. Kid rudely replied” only if you pay an additional $120”. We again stated that WE were not getting the full trip that we had paid for and asked him to contact his supervisor to see if we could be added to the other group, he said “contact VIATOR” and walked away. He did absolutely NOTHING to offer any other options and had no compassion or concern for our situation. If you read the reviews on Viator’s website, you will see that others had the same experience with this guide. Scenery was breathtaking but Viator’s customer service was terrible. I contacted VIATOR with my concerns and received no response.

Tour not as advertised - Our tour guide for this trip up into the alps was Kid. We found it very hard to understand him and he seemed angry and unsympathetic to us when plans were changed last minute by Viator. There were only 4 of us taking the shorter trip which was supposed to stop at several quaint villages along the way. Instead, at the last minute we were told those stops were not happening and instead we would stop at 2 ski and hiking stops - neither of which interested the 4 of us. When we voiced our displeasure he walked away from us and said call Viator. He wouldn’t call them for us. He explained what we were to do to just one of the 4 of us and seemed irritated when any of the others chimed in. The visit and view from the mountain was magnificent but we were disappointed we couldn’t spend time in the charming villages described.

Disappointing trip. - Our tour “guide” Kid was anything but. He spent a few minutes during the bus ride explaining our trip to only one member of our group of 4. He spoke rapidly and was not very willing to answer our questions. We had no idea from the description of this tour that we would be on our own, as most of the people on the bus were taking a different trip. When we were almost at our first destination, Kid informed us that the train route we were expecting, was not running and we would not tour the villages we had planned to. The re-routed train route only passed by ski stops, with nothing to see, giving us only two towns to visit. Kid did not care that we were upset and did not call his supervisor to see if we could be included in the other group. All he said was “ contact VIATOR”. The scenery was beautiful and the two towns we visited were beautiful but this trip was definitely not as described by VIATOR.

What a rip off! Not a tour at all. - DO NOT BOOK THIS "TOUR". This trip was booked as a tour. In fact, a bus picked us up, made a 30 minute stop in Interlaken, then dropped us off in Lauterbrunnen with a train ticket that would get us via 2 trains to the bus pickup town of Grindelwald. The tour guide was actually taking a tour group to Jungfraujoch, and we were 'offered' the opportunity to upgrade for $250 in cash. This is the first tour I've booked through Viator that was a complete rip-off. This NON tour is run by Hans Meier Tourist AG - Gray Line Zurich, again what a rip off. We were charged close to $ 150 each and based on research I did after the trip, the train tickets cost $40 each. Could have done the trip from Lucerne by train for much less cost and more fun.
