Safe behind the Walls of Lucca - Roberta gave us lots of the historyof the wall and its importance to Lucca. Going under the ramparts was a real experience ofthe past. Her enthusiaspm for her city made us want to expore every centimeter of LuccA,

A walk through history - Walking the ramparts with Lucia was a very enjoyable two hours, we learned so much about Lucca's past, the people who built the ramparts, how the town used the walls through Roman times to WW2. The restoration of the ramparts is an amazing achievement and being able to go down within the wall is a real privilege. Lucia conducted the tour in Italian and English effortlessly. Be warned, the tour is non-stop but definitely worthwhile. and we would recommend it to visitors to Lucca.

Great tour - We had a very good time on this tour. The tour guide was on time and was very knowledgeable about what she was talking about. There were 2 other couples on the trip with us so it was not that crowded either! We did walk a lot but we went inside the wall and on top of it as well. Great experience and totally recommend if you have some free time in the city and want to learn more about the history of it!

Guide didn’t show - Waited for 30 minutes with the rest of the group, but the guide never showed up. The only contact details we were given was a phone number, which they did not pick up when several members of the group tried to call. Very disappointing :(
