San Michele in Foro - On Saturdays and Sundays, meeting point is at the statue dedicated to Francesco Burlamacchi in Piazza San Michele, Lucca at 10,50am.
The tour will last 2 hours and it’s a walking tour.

The tour includes the entrance fee to visit the Cathedral where you will be able to admire the ‘Volto Santo’, the symbol of Lucca since the Middle Ages, and the funeral monument of Ilaria del Carretto, the beautiful wife of the Lord of Lucca at the beginning of the XV Century.

Take part in a 2-hour walking tour in the enchanting city of Lucca with your Local Guide, available at 11am on Saturdays, Sundays, and some bank holidays! By joining the group, you’ll explore the unique local elements that set Lucca apart from other Tuscan cities: its legends, towers, churches, influential families, and elegant ladies under the protection of robust Walls. The tour will be led in both English and Italian, with 2 certified guides. Infants up to the age of 6 participate for free, while children aged 6 to 14 pay only 4 euros for the Duomo ticket, which can also be paid directly to the Duomo.

Superb guide. - Superb!! So informative and interesting. We were lucky enough to have the guide all to ourselves, she was absolutely brilliant and very knowledgeable despite not being a native Lucchese. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Lucca! - Diletta was delightful! Excellent tour guide. SO much information in a short period of time. Not only did she give Lucca history, she gave shopping and restaurant recommendations for after.
Really great value for the price. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone.

A really excellent introduction to Lucca - We greatly enjoyed our walking tour with Diletta in Lucca. It was great that it was in English and only a small group of us (7 people). Diletta was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. She gave us a great mix of history, art, culture, food tips and geography. A really great introduction to Lucca as we were first time visitors. The tour included entry into the Cathedral which was great. It was 2 hours in total. We did not walk very far but learnt and saw a lot along the way. I highly recommend this tour and was very happy that we chose to do it.
