Fantastic experience - Fantastic guide, lucky with travel accompaniment on the trip and a lovely vineyard, and tasting on white and red vineyard, as well as olive oil

Chianti wine tour from Lucca - The Chianti wine your was a fabulous day out from Lucca. Our tour guide, Emilia was very friendly and knowledgeable about the region and the wine. The winery was in a beautiful setting in the Tuscany hills. Maria made the tour very interesting and we enjoyed tasting the lovely wines. Great day out.

Wonderful experience - We had a wonderful time! Our guide gave us lots of information about the region of Tuscany, both as it relates to wine and on more broad history/culture on the ~1 hour ride to the winery. The wine and light snacks were delicious, the winery was beautiful and historic. Would recommend to anyone staying in Lucca!

Excellent - Emilia was a wonderful host and the winery tour was a fantastically fun day. My partner and I had an amazing time at the beautiful farm with the three beautiful dogs. The wine tasting was generous and decadent. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the region.

Fantastic wine tour - Great visit to a family run winery. Small group tour with Emilia at the helm who was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great tour guide. The wines were fabulous and matched with perfect snacks. A great half day tour.

Treat yourself to fun and local flavor. - Such fun. Emilia is vibrant and knowledgeable. Winery is welcoming, gorgeous, and the winesare good quality and affordable to take with. So glad we did this tour.

Fattoria Poggio Capponi - Thank you for the pleasant tour! Everything was fine. Excellent communication with Diana’s manager and Massimo’s sommelier guide. We stopped in Pisa and came from Lucca for us. The winery had beautiful views. After visiting the cellar and a short tour - delicious wine at the tasting. We can recommend this pleasant tour!

Just fabulous - An excellent guide, very informative (on 18 July 2025). Super visit to vineyard in the Tuscan hills which was in the most gorgeous setting. Fabulous wines, good company and glorious scenery. Couldn’t be better.

Great experience - I am actually going to give this experience a “4.5” rating just because ‘perfection’ is difficult. My husband and I had an amazing day out. Amelia was very enthusiastic giving a detailed commentary of the Chianti wine area and the sights to and from Lucca. The Capone family vineyard is a joy to behold. This was our second trip there and we are sure we’ll be back. The accommodation looks great and we hope to stay overnight at the vineyard on our next trip. The wine tasting itself was really enjoyable. The wines were delicious and we have treated ourselves with several purchases. We do highly recommend this experience if you want a fun day out tasting great wines.
