Amazing and lots of fun! - Such a lovely day. My guide, Year Xiong, arrived early to pick me up. I was his only guest for the day, and his service was incredible. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer all my questions. I had a great time hearing about his life and experience in Laos. The hike was not difficult and beautiful, bonus was the village and having Year as a photographer every time I asked! Gave good pad thai and a croissant for lunch, with oranges after. He knew the route very well and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend him as a tour guide!

Very enjoable hilke - We had a wonderful, interesting and enjojable hike through villages and jungle along the spring to the Kuang Si Waterfalls, which were absolutely stunning. Our guide Tom (Tom Cruise of Laos ;-))was so entertaining and knew a lot about nature and had many good stories to tell. Highly recommended!

A wild hike through the jungle. - The trip was an adventure. It was far, 9km. Just be sure you want to go that far, but it is very worth it. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this if you truly like hiking.

Lovely day with Vone - Very nice day trip to local village in the mountain. The view and the atmosphere there were amazing. Special thank you to Vone our guide. Always ready to answer to our question and he taught us a lot about the custom of the tribes that live there. Thank you Vone to share the day with us always with a smile on your face!

Great tour, amazing guide and fascinating views. But there is a but.. - Amazing tour with a great opportunity to try trek through the jungle and get immersed in laotian landscapes, with excellent views. Year was an excellent guide, adapting our tour to our preferences and doing his best to ensure we get the most out of it. We visited local villages and saw how 2 local tribes live, saw the spring, top and bottom of the waterfall and trekked through the jungle. The only watch out is that the advert of the tour doesn’t mention that your departure is in a private car / van, but the return from the waterfall to Luang Prabang is in 12 people van, therefore you have to wait for until all smaller groups have finished their itineraries. We chose to pay separately a tuk tuk return to the city which was 100,000 kips for 2 people instead of waiting another 1.5h for the van to leave. I think the company should provide that option and cover the return fee or be clear that you have to wait otherwise.

Great trail, the major con is the guide. - The trail was great, and I had wonderful people to trek with. The major con was the guide. He was 40 minutes late to pick me up. He didn’t seem to know much of the trail, didn’t talk the last half of the trip, and slept on the bus in the way back to the city. He also made some biased jokes about women and a specific tribe. We had just one hour at the fall, which was fine with me because I didn’t plan on swimming, but if you want to swim, it’s too short. No mention about where to change clothes. The upper part of the fall was less crowded, and the Lowe part way too crowded, but no mention of that, so I was disappointed to walk down to find out about this. Overall, the trail was great, but I wouldn’t call this “tour” with that guide. I see reviews with great guides, so it really depends.

The trek itself was fine.... - The trek itself was fine. But we waited for two hours at the end for a van to pick us up to fetch us back to hotel . Also lunch at 2 pm after the trek was only a packet of fried rice . Other tour had lunch earlier mid point of the trek . There should be better description of the tour to prepare participants.
