Amazing must do experience in Luang Prabang - I really wanted to take a cooking class with an authentic experience and this class checked those boxes and more. It was just me and another solo traveler and we had the most wholesome time. We got to go to the market, partake in a Laos traditional ceremony, weave a coaster, cook in their amazing outdoor kitchen with a beautiful view of the sunset, eat our delicious food and then listen to one of the monks play the Caan (large wind instrument traditional to their culture.) It was a great time and I hope to bring my friends and family back here:)

Excellent Experience - Wonderful experience did much more than expected. Market shopping for fresh produce, shamen blessing and singing, bamboo weaving, cooking class was well explained and very hands on then after eating our meal we had the experience of a local pipe player, listening and playing. Finally all the people were so friendly and helpful. Excellent experience thank you

All the instructors were funny and kind and made the whole experience better. The location is amazing as well, a nice break from Luang Prabang. Keeping culture at the forefront of tourism - The most rewarding and spectacularly genuine, and generous experience. Tourism can sometimes ruin a place or degrade culture overtime, but through a tour like this you can invest in making tourism culture-centric, enjoy the skills, knowledge and heart of the people of the place you’re visiting. The meal alone is enough to book, the best food we’ve had in Lao but on top of that a moving musical proformance too. Thank you Somsay (and our weaving coach, our cooking teacher, chefs and musical performers). Enjoy!

EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE - Honestly, when it comes to any learning/activity experience, I am not easy to be pleased because I have experienced a lot already. But this one is something really special. The moment Sai (the owner) picked us up, I already felt his sincere, kind and positive aura. For me, good connection between people is highly essential, and that's what I felt the moment I stepped into his car. Then I arrived at his bamboo farm, and that's when my whole being got sold. Honestly the cooking class, delicious food, the bamboo activity, the purity of the ex-monk bamboo teacher, the musical entertainment of a 19y/o Laotian tribe and Sai's beautiful family are extraordinary bonuses for me. The entire package is something really special, that's why I am looking forward to go back to gain a next level program. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Sai and to your wonderful team. May we remain friends and connected. Sincerely, Carmela (from everywhere)

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience - Amazing experience!! We did an evening class, by chance we were the only ones there. Sai, his wife, their helper, and the bamboo craftsman were so welcoming, friendly, informative, and passionate. The information was super interesting and Sai really made a point of connecting us to Lao Lowland culture. To top it off, the food was out of this world.
