Setting Sail with Captain Tommy

The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon as I made my way to the Cangrejos Yacht Club, the starting point for my latest adventure. As a former professional surfer, I’ve always had a deep connection with the ocean, and the idea of exploring the brackish waters of Laguna San Jose and Laguna Torrecilla for tarpon and snook was too tempting to resist. But for me, the real joy came from witnessing Captain Tommy’s passion for his craft and his dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the area. It was a reminder of why I fell in love with the ocean in the first place.

As we made our way back to the dock, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a unique adventure.
