A true sustainable pearl - We chose Solar Whisper for the chance to sail the river with an electric boat, hoping to find an operator who cares about the environment and animals: we could not have made a better choice! We were a small group on a very quiet electric boat and therefore perfect to get close to the animals without disturbing them, we could observe the crocodiles in their natural environment and see them swimming was really exciting, they are really beautiful creatures. Excellent opportunities also for birdwatching. Mark, our Guide, was outstanding and thanks to him we learned a lot of interesting new things about the area, the crocodiles and the delicate ecosystem of the river and rainforest. His words conveyed a real passion and knowledge, as well as a deep respect and love for animals (something not taken for granted). We absolutely recommend this experience to everyone, it was wonderful! Thanks to all the staff for what you do every day.

Great experience with a passionate and captivating guide. We were fortunate to spot around a dozen crocs f - Title says it all: great experience, great guide committed to save the species. Despite the non optimal conditions (very high tide) we saw a lot of crocs: swimming, laying, from little juvenile to big fat mama.

Informational tour - Nice tour, where a lot was told about the crocodiles and other wildlife. David even ran a little late in time. Also fun for kids. Nice to be able to zoom in with the camera now and then, so everyone could see the small birds oid.

A Great Guide for this Boat Tour to See Crocodiles - A great experience as this tour on the river to admire wildlife. Meet different birds and of course crocodiles. Frankly 5/5 because the Guide isn't just a Guide. We feel that he loves to observe nature that he explains very well and with some touches of humor. He did not hesitate to turn around, when the time of the tour was over, to see a male crocodile come to meet a female crocodile! A "rare" moment. A passionate one to meet and is scientific in his approach.

The best crocodile trip - I wasn’t sure whether this trip was going to be any good. First impressions generally count and the young man at check-in had absolutely no idea about customer relations or any interest in being hospitable. However, the trip itself with ‘Captain Dave’ and his able Ist mate Doug, was a different story. Not only did Dave make each of us very welcome but his enthusiasm and knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Daintree River was catching. Dave gave us a great talk about Scarface (chief croc) and the other crocodiles and then we had the privilege of seeing these in their natural habitat. Dave’s boat was also good in that it was electrically powered and so silent in the river and tributaries It was a great 2 hour trip which I believe was value for money and something not to be missed.

Best Croc Cruise on the Daintree - This was an outstanding cruise with Dave and Dougie the dog. Dave was passionate and very knowledgeable about the crocs on the river and had many stories to tell in a way that was humorous but with great respect for these extraordinary animals. Highlight was Scarface and Dusky Rose who we had been introduced to earlier, mating in the water just 6m from the boat!
