Good trip and value for money. - Really enjoyed this trip. Pick up was on time. The meal in restaurant was good quality with good service. Nice drinks provided, cava and hot chocolate from trip organisers. Knowledgeable guides providing interesting information. Very thoughtful providing puffa jackets as it was extremely cold! Very good value for money. Would recommend this trip,

Amazing Trip - Amazing trip up Mount Teide to watch the sunset above the clouds and enjoy dinner before stargazing. The guides (especially Craig) were so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The information about the night skies was fascinating and the views through the telescopes were beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this trip!! 😊

100% recommend! - Myself and my partner had the most incredible experience on this tour. The sunset was absolutely amazing however the stargazing was absolutely something else! Craig who greeted us at the bus stop was friendly, really funny and knew a lot about the island as well as the stars. Kieran gave us our talk regarding the stars and his knowledge was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

Great trip for the sunset and night sky! - Great trip to see the sunset and stars. Guides were really experts on their field and shared a lots of interesting knowledge about the night sky! Telescopes were high quality and even warm jackets & drinks were available. I wish they could improve the entry to the parking lot on the road side, which now had quite high treshold which could easily damage a (rental) car. Highly recommendable trip!

Arranged pick was exactly... - Arranged pick was exactly on time and mini bus very clean. Meal a little rushed and basic. Star gazing was very informative.

Overpromised and underwhelming - Booked a trip to Tenerife specifically for the stargazing. I’m sure anyone who has stayed in Las Americas would agree that you wouldn’t come here for any other reason. Pick up at the hotel was fine, a few more stops on the way, and while on the journey we were told that the dark clouds are good as that means the cloud is low and will be ok for sunset and stargazing. We were told the islands we were likely to see at sunset. Then above the clouds we stopped for sunset and Cava and were again told the islands that we would have seen if it wasn’t for the cloud! As the sun disappeared into the low cloud we were back on the bus and off to the restaurant. As we arrived at the restaurant, in cloud, we were informed that the boss would decide if the stargazing would be here or there were another couple of possibilities. I will admit at this point I thought the stargazing bit was going to be near the Observatory. Dinner was ok, chicken and potatoes, the wine was rough, and the restaurant was certainly designed to prepare us for the cold outside as it was chilly to say the least. After dinner we were instructed to head out, turn right, right again, past the bus where the telescopes were set up. Nowhere near the observatory, but in the restaurant car park, next to the road. I’m guessing form other laser pointers that another company had the prime viewing platform area. May be worth finding out who that is, as I’m sure they didn’t have the cars, with full beam headlights driving past every so often. There were 4 telescopes set up between the coach and the cars for about 50 people. At this point I will give the night sky a high rating as that did not disappoint. There were a lot of stars and planet to see. It did get a bit misty a couple of times. That could have been cloud or the smoke from Craig and Kieran’s cigarettes. Unfortunately it was cold, and there was a lot of standing around between looking through the telescopes at the 4 things chosen for us to see. A couple of the telescopes ran out of people to look through them and I’m sure could have been focussed on something else to keep everyone interested and seeing more. Did I mention it was cold, and there was a lot of standing around during the 1.5 hours, waiting for the next thing, or waiting to have Kieran share his knowledge. They really should try and keep the involvement up, especially as it’s cold. Then it was done. The trip back to the drop off points was all fine, apart from the appeal for tips from the guide. Really need to take into consideration that people have already paid 79 euros. Anyway, would I do it again, yes, but not with this company. I’d look for a company that operates with smaller groups and actually goes near the observatory as I’d love to see that. It may cost more but I think it would be worth it for increased involvement.

They could make things much better. - Little observation time, very large group and eterogeny of languages. They don't speak Spanish. 2 hours bus ride and one hour for a humble dinner in a cold and crowded place. They could make things much better.
