Embark on a full-day tour to explore the charming villages and stunning landscapes surrounding Tenerife’s Mt Teide and the Masca Valley! Departing from southern Tenerife, journey through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Teide National Park, where you will encounter breathtaking volcanic scenery. Travel through Vilaflor, one of Spain’s highest villages, and pause for photos at the island’s renowned dragon tree, over 3,000 years old, in Icod De Los Viños. Enjoy ample free time to discover Garachico, Tenerife’s original port, which was impacted by the last volcanic eruption, and Masca, a picturesque Canarian village nestled in the hills. With so much more to see and explore, this trip promises not to disappoint.
There will be time for lunch at a recommended restaurant, or you can bring your own meal, with plenty of spots available to sit and enjoy your food.

A trip well worth taking! - An excellent and informative trip. Great sights, all explained so well by our guide Alex. Driver Jose deserves a special mention, he helped everyone off the coach at each stop and was very friendly. Some of the stops were a little too short to make the best of, but we were very happy overall.

What a view! - What a trip! The drive to Teide was just as exciting as arriving on Teide. The hairpin turns and courtesy of other drivers was amazing. Stops were wonderful and the guide was very informative. We stopped to eat a a restaurant that had a beautiful view and great food.

Fantastic tour!... - Fantastic tour!
Hector, our guide, was polite, knowledgeable, fun, and extremely professional. Our driver, Jorge, was highly skilled at navigating the hilly terrain. It was a really great experience, visiting multiple attractions and enjoying the spectacular views along the way. Tenerife is a beautiful island, and this tour shows that it has much more to offer beyond its stunning beaches.

An amazing day out with lots of other worldly scenery. - A great day out exploring the traditional and undisturbed parts of Tenerife Island.
I thought Mount Teide would be the star of the day but for me it was Masca... Hidden away looking like a town plonked in the middle of prehistoric lands. Just stunning.
Absolutely amazing scenery during the whole trip with more hairpin turns than could be counted. So thankful for our very skilled driver.
Great information given by our guide during the coach journey too, including historical and geographical facts as well as I formation about plants and Tenerife ways of life.
Disappointed that we didn't stop at Villaflor (not sure exactly why but I think the coach driver determined it to be too busy)
We also skipped the stop at Garachico (Piscinas Naturales El Caleton) due to fallen rock on the main road and therefore apparently nowhere suitable to park. .I was very disappointed about this and would have thought prior planning could have resulted in alternative parking spots secured as you could see that there were still plenty of visitors through the town as we drove through it.

Amazing scenery overshadowed by unsafe driving - Spectacular views and a great way to see a lot of Tenerife in one day. The itinerary was excellent and our guide Maria was knowledgeable.
However, the driving felt unsafe and at times quite frightening. The driver frequently exceeded speed limits, did not always keep a safe distance, and used his phone while driving. There was also shouting at other drivers and pedestrians, which added to the discomfort.
A useful tip for future travellers: bring cash, as toilets at the stops cost €1 per person each time. This is not an issue in itself, but it would be helpful if this was mentioned in the tour description, as many people rely on card payments only. Also, at the lunch stop, I would recommend choosing your own restaurant rather than the one suggested by the guide, as the food quality there was disappointing (it’s worth checking Google reviews in advance).
Overall, a beautiful tour, but the driving standards need improvement to ensure passenger safety.

55€ each for what ??? - Most expensive bus ride ever !
Been on many Tenerife tours , usually all good . Booked this one with Atlantica excursions €55 each , wish I hadn’t bothered .
30 mins after pick up we stopped at a cafe , no scenery just toilets at €1 and a cafe , with a small gift shop/ second hand store .
30 mins later - surprise ! Another cafe but this time with a gift shop although the toilets were free . No scenery though .
At this point felt a little bit kidnapped !
The couple in the seats in front overheard me comment the same and said ‘ you too ‘ 😂
Roughly 45 mins later a 20 minute stop in mount teide crater for photo opportunity then doubled back for an hours drive to - you guessed it, a pre arranged restaurant?? Restaurant Carmen 😂
What a joke ! We were told a set meal available at €20 each . But other options available , which were never offered . Just herded to a table with two other couples then asked if we wanted red or white wine from a not to clean carafe .
My wife being coeliac we checked the menu for gluten free , not very clear so asked the waitress. She had no idea but told us vegetarian menu available , what ??
At this point we decided to leave as this has happened before and she had become unwell.
The waitress then blocked our passage as I told her we were leaving . Then the male waiter came over . He was quite aggressive and told us we would have to pay for the untouched wine , not wishing to argue I asked three times how much , he just kept repeating’ you pay ‘ , I then got annoyed. Bashed about €10 change on the counter n walked out . We had just wasted 20 mins. and just about had time for a coffee elsewhere and a photo of the tree we had come to see . Had an orange for dinner as hadn’t time for other restaurants close by .
By the way the guide was nowhere to be seen during this !
Next stop on the coast for 10 minute stop - again no great scenery . Everyone was bored by then .
Next a route on mountain roads and guess what ? Another cafe stop 😂
We had to have something or pay to use the toilets - fair enough. But after ordering coffee then going to the toilet I was abruptly stopped - have you payed ?
Again another unpleasant experience.
The only plus side was the scenery and ravines were spectacular. After the 20 mins stop we drove back home .
What a waste of a day .
Don’t bother , try the other trips - teide stargazing or La Gomera . More expensive but well worth it !
