The marks of Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the “New World” and the island’s conquest by the kingdom of Castile make San Sebastian a unique and special place in the Canary Islands and in the history of civilization.
• Torre Del Conde - In San Sebastian, the Torre del Conde stands out as a historical landmark, a medieval fortress and the oldest preserved structure on the islands.
• Church of the Assumption - The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción offers a delightful blend of Gothic and Canarian styles, serving as a true museum of sacred art. The hermitage of San Sebastián, built around 1530, and the Casa de la Aguada, with its well, are notable sites.
