Great Day on the Water - Great experience. Did afternoon tour with Kevin Von Borstel as guide/teacher and Chuy as captain. Really enjoyed the commentary provided by Kevin and the respectful distance maintained by the boat. Highly recommend

Absolutely Amazing!! - Was about a two-hour bus ride. But stopped at an organic market that was great halfway through the ride. The boating ride was great. our guide Mario was amazing. The tacos for lunch were good. I saw whale sharks and got to swim with a few. Saw dolphins up close as well. It was a great trip!!

This is a must do activity while in Cabo! - Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was blown away. The guides Joe and Mario, and boat captain Berto were funny, amazing, and very helpful, making sure everyone got great opportunities to see the whale sharks. It was incredible to be so close to such large and majestic animals and I cannot recommend this enough!

Amazing Whale Shark Swimming Experience in La Paz - We had the best experience with Mario and Cabo Adventures on our whale shark swimming excursion. I was in Cabo for a bachelorette party, and we did the whale shark swimming excursion on our last day. Mario was our tour guide and not only is he hilarious and entertaining, he thoroughly explained the process of swimming with the whale sharks before we were on the boat and explained why certain rules are in place to protect the safety of these majestic creatures. Juan was our boat captain and he was very helpful and Luis was our driver from Cabo and he was also wonderful. We stopped at an adorable little market on the way to La Paz that has amazing coffee, pastries, and strawberry cream parfait (seriously, you have to try the strawberry cream parfait). If you are looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity, book it and request Mario if you can!

Shout out to Mario! - Such an amazing trip! Mario was the best guide - huge thanks to him, our driver Luis and captain Jorge. The whole day was full of energy right from the beginning. Mario is so friendly and fun, and did a great job at thoroughly explaining the day to us, the various regulations we must abide by to protect the whale sharks and how to make the most of our experience. What I loved the most was how the welfare of the whale sharks came first. Mario captured some amazing videos for us on a GoPro and lunch after the swimming was DELISH! Thanks Mario and team!

Not what I expected, but great nonetheless - First of all, Mario our guide on the bus both ways was fantastic. Very informative and humorous. Joe, our guide out in the water was also great. Made sure even with some manual help that each time we were in the water we got to see the whale sharks. We were a group of 8 - 4 adult couples. We got to swim with our spouses each time we got into the water making it a more intimate experience. We got into the water 3 times for 3 separate encounters. We had good weather, cloudy but good. The water was also not choppy where we were in the bay. (Obviously things that aren’t in their control but notable). The ocean was not as cold as anticipated but we were provided wet suits. Lunch was great and we were given a sandwich for breakfast on the bus. We made a stop to use the bathroom at this market where we had the best strawberries and cream and muffins. Things to keep in mind: This does not look like the online photos. The water is a little murky and it’s not perfectly clear like the online photos. You need to be able to swim fast. Life jackets were required out to the site but were not required when we actually swam - it was then optional. These are real animals that move fast and you are trying to keep up with them to get the most out of the experience. Pictures make it look like you’re floating beside them leisurely while in fact you are swimming for your life. It is going to be a long day. We were picked up at 5:45 am and we did not arrive to the hotel until about 7pm. Trip says 10 hours but in reality it’s longer so keep that in mind and don’t make evening reservations because your day could be even longer than that, we were just fortunate to get into the water when we did. Snorkeling experience is wise. I haven’t been snorkeling in 5 years and was a little panicky breathing with my face in the water. Again, not in their control but worth mentioning. If you are prone to motion sickness - be warned that you will spend a lot of time on the boat - like 2-3 hours. Make sure you are prepared for that. All in all it was a great day and an experience we got to cross off our bucket list.

What customer service!!! - First off WOW! What amazing customer service. Second, Mario is probably the best guide I’ve ever had on a trip. My husband and I use viator excursions a lot and this was by the far the best his energy, his knowledge, and his ability to do his job was outstanding. Captain Jorge got us right to the whales in minutes, and our driver Luis got us to and from safely! Thank you for such a memorable trip you guys!!!
