Into the Heart of Fox Canyon

The sun was barely peeking over the horizon as my group of thrill-seekers and I set off from our hotel near Cabo San Lucas. The anticipation was palpable as we embarked on a journey to uncover one of Cabo’s best-kept secrets: the Fox Canyon. Our guides, Yules and Alex, were seasoned adventurers themselves, and their enthusiasm was infectious. After our aquatic adventure, we made our way back down the trail, our spirits high and our bodies invigorated. The journey wasn’t over yet, though. We stopped in the quaint town of Miraflores, where a local restaurant awaited us with open arms. The meal was a feast for the senses, a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine. The highlight was undoubtedly the dragon fruit margarita, a vibrant concoction that perfectly captured the essence of our adventure.

As we made our way back to the hotel, the desert landscape bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, I couldn’t help but reflect on the day’s events. Fox Canyon had delivered on its promise, offering a glimpse into the “real” Mexico, a world away from the bustling resorts of Cabo. It was a journey of discovery, a reminder of the beauty that lies just beyond the beaten path.
